Pathetic, losing to Bammer I really give up
She could do an Amelie and play crap in the warm up and then win the slam but I don't see it happenning.
LDF - January 10, 2007 03:39 PM (GMT)
Oh Serena, that is abysmal

Bammer is the ultimate grinder, zero weapons, Serena should've pounced all over her

I thought it would be close in set scores; but Im slightly surprised Kim dropped a set like that :o
Still onwards and upwards for Kimmie :D
Li was no push over :)
Well Bammer getting beaten like that puts Serena's form in perspective
It also to my mind highlights the truth somewhat in what she said after she lost. The girls do tend to play their best against her. Regardless of her current ranking, she will always be seen as a former world number one and the girls to tend to take that seriously and play their heart out as they know they have the chance for a big scalp. Whereas today Bammer didn't really look too bothered.
