Title: Why are ther so many tournaments in Germany?
welshboy91 - May 21, 2006 09:34 AM (GMT)
I couldnt decide which to put this on; ATP or WTA. I chose WTA because it is more used.
Munich
Hamburg
World Team Championship
Halle
Stuttgart
Berlin
There are 6 tournaments in Germany every year. Ok, so there isn't as many as in the US.

France actually has more events on the calendar - 7 I believe, and the UK has 5, what is strange is that Germany had two Masters events up until a few years ago...
And yet none in South American or Asia

That's only a temporary event, even though I think they have it for the next two years...

There are events in South America, on the ATP side.
Vina del Mar, Buenos Aires, Costa do Sauipe (Brazil).
And some Asian ones:
Mumbai, Bangkok and Tokyo.
But the difference is huge, yep.

i think he means:
why isnt there a TMS in south america?
The Dav - May 21, 2006 03:59 PM (GMT)
There are actually quite a few Asian events on the ATP tour, but they're all at International level...
The Masters are far too Euro-centric...
