For someone who doesn't know who Selesfan is, you picked up rather quickly on what SF stood for.

roflmao

I saw this Lleyton earlier on antoher thread and knew it was Sf immediately.

SF - if you don't want to be spotted then pick something less obvious than an Aussie player and dont; draw attention to yourself. I think really that you want us to find you so you give us clues. Also I know it's you just becasue of the format of your typing and lack of emoticions, and your phrasing. Mayeb they are deliberate clues too, either that or you are a useless under cover person! :D

Had you fooled didnt I roflmao

This is kind of getting silly now.

It's getting back to that point as happened on the BBC where every new member is being accused of being someone else, whether it's true or not. As someone who, when they first joined the BBC board, got accused of being Sharapova_Fan (another SF....... ) I can tell you that if i hadn't been reading the board for a few weeks and understood all the hassle that had gone off with that poster, I would have been rather offended and probably left the board. Instead, i told Dav to leave me alone and carried on posting roflmao

i really hate the idea that someone new may join the board in the next few weeks and be accused of being someone they're not and then leave the board. :(

You were accused of being Sharafan? OMG! :o Sorry to hear that.

I do agree with what you say, it's just that with SF we've had so much of this and this did seem like SF to me. I do think she dleiberately leaves us a clue as she wants to be found out and this time it's Hewiit. I could be wrong, if so I accept that and apologise. It was odd though that they know what SF stood for if they are totally new. It's hard to strike a balance on these things becasue you are sometimes damned if you do and damne dif you dont; if you catch my drift. :)

Dinky Jo - December 21, 2006 06:49 PM (GMT)
Oh, SB, I don't necessarily disagree with you on who this person is, and considering that almost every post they've made has been "I'm not SelesFan," it suggests that possibly there is something a bit odd going on......

I totally understand why people do accuse others of being SF, but my point was simply that something needs to be done to stop that from happening - ie. make sure that we know there's no way that it could be SF.....or whatever.

Ace - December 21, 2006 06:49 PM (GMT)
Lol...funny thread.

And welcome

I don't remember that, are you sure it wasn't someone else roflmao

Anyway, what's 'Comon'?

Dinky Jo - December 21, 2006 06:58 PM (GMT)
no, Dav, it was you. But it's ok 'cos I understood what was going on, and I did reply. I think you accused me of being a bit "sensitive" roflmao To be fair, every other poster probably was Sharapova_Fan. I think it was 'cos I said I liked Davenport and you said it was probably SF trying to fool you

You're more of an ATP poster though, so that's why I can't see why I would have accused you of being SF

Sorry

Dinky Jo - December 21, 2006 07:05 PM (GMT)
I can't remember exactly - but i introduced myself and said I preferred men's tennis and liked blah blah blah. Didn't really follow women's but I did like Davenport and Clijsters......that was the only post i made before oyu said something about me prolly being SF and trying to fool everyone.

Anyway, doesn't matter.....my only point is that it would have been rather off-putting to someone who didn't realise how much trouble SF had caused.

Guys, Lleyton is not me, I swear. I can see why one would be in the asumption that this Lleyton poster is me.

This was always happening to me on the BBC. People always used to make similar posts as this, so people would think it was me. I don't know if it is a complement or an insult.

I am told that I am known by tennis fans all around the world for my controversial posts, and when I made appearances on other internet sites, people knew who I was immediately. Some of these forums were not even tennis!

I never ever meant to become so well known. I originally wanted to tell my beliefs and thoughts, but it became so much more than that.

I still have my beliefs and opinions, and will defend what I believ in, and my morals and values, but I amn here to talk primarily about tennis, not to cause controversy.

I think most of you might have missed the point that DADMIRALANDGENERAL (God bless him!), and I were trying to make. I mean, you were all saying, "Why can't you accept that this is the way some people are"? We were asking the same questions to you.

I mean, on that "Tunisian thread" that SMM made, you were asking the two of us to accept homosexuality. We were asking you all to accept homophobia. You thought we were being the hypocrites though. The truth is though, everybody was being a hypocrite. Everyone should accept everything, but that doesmn't mean you have to understand or respect it though.

There are many things I'll never understand, or respect, but that has never stopped me from loving everyone, regardless of the life they choose they want to live. The two things I will never ever understand and respect are murder and rape.

At the end of the way, it's not for me to decide. :)

lindsayfan! - December 23, 2006 06:58 AM (GMT)
Has anyoen ever noticed how most of the men here support woman's tennis more, and how many woman support men's tennis more? Why is that? I like both, but prefer the woman's more. I'm the only woman on here who prefers woman's tennis more. I think Nick prefers men's tennis.

You really don't help yourself leaving and rejoining here time and time again. Now you seem to be telling people they should accept homophobia? That is ridiculous Selesfan, absolutely ridiculous.

How about you accept the fact that you have made a real mess of posting on this site recently, apologise for it....especially posting under so many different accounts, and get back to posting normally. Eventually you may win some people over again that way.

No, Gav, you've completely missed my point. Btw, how come Sam didn't get the same kind of treatement?

I should have said, people should have an OPEN MIND about EVERYTHING, not ACCEPT. My mistake, as that's what I meant to write. The reason I said people should accept EVERYTHING is because there is nothing we can do about the things that occur on a daily basis.

I am nowhere near as homophobic as I once was, not even close! However, I think that everyone should have an open mind about everything.

At the end of the day, people should have their own opinion.

I also forgot to ask you, Why should someone expect someone else to accept something, when they themselves can't accept something that that person wants them to accept?
