Title: the S.I. Sportsman of the year

How rubbish was that? Choosing a mediocre basketball player instead of Federer?
Wayde wasn't even americain sportsman of the year!!! This is what i call glocalization, the trying of making global what is local! You can argument that S.I. it's american magazine, okay, so just choose americain sportsman of the year don't call it sportsman of the year!! This is just about money, marketing and selling some americain products, some american images in the global marketing of sports. What about sports? what about true merit?
In other sense this is about what i sometimes wrote of americain biased thinking that is so clear in this forum. I just ask something: if Federer was americain who doubt that he would had won the S.I. sportsman of the year in the last 3 years? Or that some trolls would had putted sampras in there "memoires arquives" and would praise all the time federer?
