Title: Should FA Cup Be Seeded?
liam_valid - December 4, 2006 05:33 PM (GMT)
I think its a shame that the last two winners are to meet in the third round, especially for the disheartened Pool fans( :P ). Most people argue that these big early draws add to the magic, but i think it reduces the big teams chances of getting to Europe and think the system should be revised

I think it's good that one of the 'big four' will have to go out early, it adds to the excitement, rather than the same boring teams winning it every year. Besides, if it's seeded, it will just be matches like Chelsea v Torquay every year, which are good for the smaller teams, but it would get boring, and it would be nice to have a few league1/2/conference teams in the latter rounds.

I think it should definately be seeded
I mean Liverpool vs Arsenal is ridiculous so early... at least Liverpool are at home

Maybe even if its just the top 8 teams, dont they do that in the world cup?

i like the way it is, even if it has pitted us against the kop. I agree with oblivion ( :o ) and its nice that the so called "lesser" teams who are struggling in their league have realistic chances to go deep in the tournament (like Southend in CC)
