Title: Stats

sir matchstickmen - November 30, 2006 04:06 PM (GMT)
Can anybody tell me where I can get stats such as winners/unforced errors for this year for players?

I'm trying to do profiles of some top players for our clubhouse, got the descriptions ok (and neutral somehow! roflmao ), but I have no stats!

The players i'm putting up are:

Men:

Federer, Nadal, Roddick, Murray and Henman (we are british after all!)

Women:

Sharapova, Henin-Hardenne, Mauresmo, Serena, Hingis

I'd put venus heavily in the winners column despite her slim amount of tourny's :D

Sharapova probably tops both roflmao

well it's tough for me to choose which williams to profile - I can't do both, and Serena is more successful but Venus is playing more!

Stuff it i'll make Sharapova's twice the size! roflmao

the atp site has service stats, but I want winners and unforced errors if poss!

WTA site is hopeless for any sort of stat, trust the women to be more awkward! roflmao

I find the WTA sight far more useful :o

You can go through any year and see the scores of any matches played in the open era! As well as rankings, seedings etc.

I don't think they have the stats you're looking for though...I haven't seen them anyway.

that's what I need you see - the ATP site has plenty of good stats such as year 1st serve % etc.

year win/loss records are at least easy to come by!
