Title: Istanbul - No Davenport?
trisco - May 16, 2006 02:01 PM (GMT)
I thought Davenport was aiming for a comeback here? Can anyone confirm that? I remember Dav and LDF saying so I think?
Looks like Shazza has pulled a tactical move, pulled outta Rome and replaced Davenport here?
Probably thinks she has a better chance here.

I think it's true :(
I sort of expected it, but I was hoping that she would play, that's her RG hopes out the window now, another thing that's worrying me is this back problem, she's been resting for over 2 months and it's still not better and I've heard that bulging discs are quite serious...
I'm worried for her :(

Hi Dav and LDF   Just saw this headline as I was closing down to go home. :( :( Was about to email you both when I saw this link. Sorry to hear the news, don't know all the story, but a great great shame nonetheless.
Lets hope she is fine for Wimbledon as she will be sorely missed. :) :D
