Actually, ElHuegi, I think if you look around, you'll find this board is pretty balanced in it's opinions. Actually, the BBC board was, too, at one time, until Dr. Sincere and co. decided to go on their ridiculous campaign. Anyway, welcome aboard, Wise Analyst, as long as you don't feel the need to spam the board in order to counter some imagined pro-Federer hyperbole.

There you can upload a picture you have in your desktop...

Now you must find a great picture of the Maestro (i.e. FED) but this is not difficult, the web is a FED pictures book nowadays (Is this already a hyperbole? roflmao )

There's not enough storage space to let people upload pictures, but if they're stored on imageshack or elsewhere on the net, you can use the "IMG" feature to post them. It displays the picture, without actually having to upload it to this site.

if it helps, I had trouble with one the other day - got told the same thing bout personal pics etc - and someone mentioned that, contrary to what you may read, the pics need to be a jpeg - if you change your pic to that, it might upload then.

If u are still having dificulty DN, you need save the image on your desktop, to got to www.imageshack.us , upload your pic (click browse) seeclt the pic off your desktop, click ok, then upload it. It should then come up with 4 links, you want the one that says direct link to image. Copy that link into your avatar settings via the control panel on here. :D

If you're talking avatar, just post the link into the appropriate place under the "Edit Avatar Settings" screen in "My Controls." (If you're not sure of the link for a pic, you can right-click on the picture and go to "properties." It should show the link and you can just cut and paste it.)

To post a link to a picture within a message, click the "IMG" button at the top of the page, then put in your link the same way.

Thanks everyone for their kind words. Nice to speak with you again so soon TV. Rest assured there'll be no need for me to counter any Federer hyperbole just yet, although I'll certainly be keeping a firm eye on things should he manage to progress at the Aussie Open.

With regards to the Davis Cup, it pains me that Nikolai Davydenko might get his hands on the trophy, but it's looking likely. I can't see Chela winning a singles match as Safin normally turns up for this tournament, and either him or "Agassi" are likely to beat Nalbandian once. I'd say 3-1 for Russia (dead rubber irrelevant).

Oh and I saw someone say something about the off-season being a good time to discuss the GOAT? Please no - I need a honeymoon period here at least!

So as usual some remarks wise:

A. AO will be nice to follow here and I am quite sure you will be "nice" enough to avoid posting the usual forecasts (i.e. straight sets bagels against FED even by unknown unseat opponent...You will not do that Right :P )...

B. I agree with your David Cup forecast: But as you know I am against this competition because it introduces nations and countries in one of the rare major sport (man the major sport for me) in which players do not represent anyone a part themselves...I like to think that Borg/Lendel /Pete/FED and all others are simply international "talented" human beings out of the Nations/Countries context... B)

So: I really disregard this competition...even if i will end up follow some of the matches..

Davis Cup doesn't really interest me either TV, although it'll be interesting to see some of the match-ups. I'm certainly not married - I meant a metaphorical honeymoon period (like mediter's metaphorical triple bagel), i.e a week or so of friendliness before the arguments. If I started debating about the GOAT already, the arguments would probably start straight away.

I doubt there'll be any arguments wise, just some interesting debates hopefully :)

There is an interesting article that Brakkus posted this afternoon about what each top player was able to achieve in 2006 (under ATP Player Discussions) : To comment this article you do not need any reference to the era and simply you have to post your opinions on the players...Will be nice to discuss that article...I will post tomorrow about that if I have time...
