Thanks for the plug Dav. I'm actually updating my site at the moment. I'm adding:

I've removed the 1996 ATP semifinal to make space. but don't worry, I rotate the clips as I have so many and there are always people who never saw matches the first time I published them on my site.

No problem. It's an excellent site.

My mouth is already watering at the prospect of Becker Sampras from 1996.....I remember that final well!!!

I was actually living in Germany at the time and was watching every second of it on German TV!!!

And I never saw the 1992 match between Sampras and Lendl so that will be great too. My girlfriend is gonna think I am very anti-social at my laptop with headphones on for those matches!

Well, yeah, because the match finished around 1 o'clock in the morning! Plus it was a midweek match.

If you understand Italian the commentators seemed to be commentting on Krajicek been physically and mentally tired, Sampras hardly missed any returns from the second set tiebreak onwards and was passing Krajicek regularly on both sides. Maybe a shock for Krajicek considering his record over Sampras, although Sampras had beaten him in their previous meeting in Cincinatti quite easily 6:4, 6:2. That US match was the last match they ever played.

By the way, I'll psoting Federer Nadal clips from the 06 Masters semifinal by Thursday.

The other thing I would say is, by the end of the match the stadium was still at least half full. That stadium holds 23000 people so even if there are 12000 there, thats a lot and they were making a lot of noise. Still more people than most stadiums around the world can fill.

I id not realise it was that late in the night. Good on Sampras but a good help from the crowd in the 2second set tie break before they went to bed. ;)
