I thought definitely last year, but now i am not so sure. I read something a while back and Tim said he was enjoying tennis again and was in no hurry to hang up his raquet at the end of this year. He has nothing much to defend so if he stays fit and keeps going he stands a good chance of upping his ranking a bit, so should not feel that there is no point carrying on.

What do you think?

I reckon he'll keep going, he seems pretty stubborn and does have a genuine love for the game, I don't think he's the type of player who is 'ranking-dependent', I think he'll just plough on, but if things continue then I'm sure he'll quit at the end of '07, there's only so much you can take...

Yeah I tend to agree, but I'm sure he will feel very ranking dependent come slams where he has a tough first roun, and tournies where he can't get in to get some points - I don't think he qualified this week due to his ranking slip. Doesn't strike me that he will want to be a journeyman after his high rankings and career success. But I just dont; think he wants to go yet. Will Davenport be reitring soon? You shoudl start a poll ....

Hi SB etc al. I really dont see him improving his game and granted he doesnt have ANY ranking points to defend later in the year. Playing has moved on and he doesnt have the power or serve to out gun the top players.
