Title: Rome Final - The Big Showdown
Description: Will Nadal continue his streaks?
Nick Havoc - May 14, 2006 01:35 AM (GMT)
You know he's going to lose on clay eventually. And you know he'll lose again to Fed, but will this streaks come to an end on Sunday. Somehow, I tend to think not. I have this feeling that Federer is biding his time, preparing for RG. He'll win this one, if the opportunity presents itself, but I really think his focus is on figuring out what he needs to do to win the French Open.
Or, I could just be full of :bs: .
welshboy91 - May 14, 2006 08:01 AM (GMT)
The way Fed has played forthe last 2 days, Rafa sgould win
OSmeone - May 14, 2006 09:44 AM (GMT)
maybe, but perhaps fed's problem has been his lack of tough match practice before playing nadal. RG, Dubai, MC, even te first time in miami he has cruised to face nadal and seemed shocked by the challenge. having defeated his original nemesis, maybe he'll be a bit more prepared. Still, nadal all the way unless Fed wins set 1 convincingly.
Big Al - May 14, 2006 10:42 AM (GMT)
Nadal will most likely win but Fed. is playing himself in for RG and wont be too disappointed if he loses. He'll look for a few more pointers on how to beat Nadal which he's getting close to. At the moment Nadal has the mental edge but that could easily change as the OSmeone said if Fed wins a set convincingly. B)
It might be a case of he's playing the right tactics just need to make a few less errors make Nadal win the point.
Thats my opinion anyway,I dont think Fed. will be TOO disappointed if he loses. Nice if he wins though  :ok:
