Federer seems to have a much tougher draw than nadal, and if Nadal does play I can see him easily in the final.
The Dav - May 13, 2006 06:15 PM (GMT)
Roddick and Nalbandian missing?
Anyway, I voted for BOTH Fed and Safin  I meant to vote for Safin, I wanted to go for a wild vote this time, but it will be one of two realistically, and they don't include Marat...

Hey Flame, I didn't know you were such a huge Tim fan, has he become an Irish institution too without me knowing? ;)

OSmeone - May 14, 2006 09:42 AM (GMT)
I'd put federer as a major favourite simply becasue he seems to excvel on te slow clay. nadal hasn't played there recently so remains to be tested, and many RG champions never won hamburg at all so...
WimbledonAce - May 14, 2006 03:38 PM (GMT)
I am distraught by the draw, I think I may well hang myself
JymJilly - May 15, 2006 10:37 PM (GMT)
I thought Tim might have sneaked in with all those withdrawals. But alas no
Henman is rubbbish - May 16, 2006 09:08 AM (GMT)
No Federer and no Nadal-opens it up a bit for someone to sneak a win.
Ken001 - May 16, 2006 10:13 AM (GMT)
Murray is a set and 3-0 (double break) up on Monfils!! :o :o
Ken001 - May 16, 2006 10:22 AM (GMT)
Monfils has given up. Murray serving for the match at 5-0
Ken001 - May 16, 2006 10:37 AM (GMT)
Murray wins 6-4, 6-1 :)
Very good result, even if Monfils was tired from his exertions in Rome.
Ken001 - May 16, 2006 01:34 PM (GMT)
Rusedski is getting pasted, 1-6, 0-3 to Gilles Simon :(
Obviously much too slow for him in Hamburg.
Ken001 - May 16, 2006 01:54 PM (GMT)
6-1, 6-1 to Simon. Hope Greg enjoys baguettes.

Can Murray regain the crown of "British No. 1" if he does well here?
Nick Havoc - May 16, 2006 03:26 PM (GMT)
Looks like Gaudio and Martin are in a bit of a fight in the first round.
4-4 third set.

|
Dunno!
He's 48 points behind Greg, and currently stands to gain 30 more for round 2, and 70 more if he beats Blake. Don't know how many points they're defending, but wouldn't imagine it will be many in either case.
Not that British number 1 is currently a huge boast!
