It has nothing to do with the inability to prevent coaching from the stands - you can see when it happens, even the commentators know, and it's easy to stop (ejection of the coach to disqualifying the player).
The real reason is that they want to mike the coaches and put the comments out for TV. It's another way to lessen the game in order to market something that isn't wanted or needed.
I say we ban WTA instead.
