Henman? *dead*
Seriously though, I do think we'll get a Federer-Nadal final (hopefully both players will be fit and healthy), which of course has the potential to be a classic. I think Nadal will sneak it home, particularly if the weather in France is poor (which slows down the courts).

You are not serious, are you?
Big Al - May 1, 2006 11:44 AM (GMT)
Id say Nadal is the better on clay at the moment, not much doubt about that but Federers getting closer all the time. I pick Fed. to win RG though because destiny may have a big part to play .
Nick Havoc - May 1, 2006 03:55 PM (GMT)
I went for Federer, though it may be wishful thinking. It's truly rare to see someone hold all four titles at once, though.
BTW, I took the liberty of editing your poll options, as you had Ferrer in there twice. :P

No votes for Nadal roflmao
RT. - May 3, 2006 09:28 AM (GMT)
I can't believe I was the first one to vote for Nadal !!
SuperBRAT - May 3, 2006 06:26 PM (GMT)
Glad I'm not the onyl one backing Federer - seems ot eb the fave with us lot.
Nick Havoc - May 3, 2006 06:33 PM (GMT)
I think Nadal has to be the favorite at the moment, but I did vote for Federer, just because I'd like to see him win the full slam, and perhaps even go on to the calendar slam from that . . . . Ok, I'm getting ahead of myself.

A Fed Rafa final would/ should be a fantastic contest.. 2 seriously strong competitors, and neither giving an inch..
Now IF they were to meet in Rome prior to the FO, then a Fed victory would spice things up nicely.. Even if Rafa were to win that possible scenario (yes, more 'ifs'!), I still think that a Fed-Rafa final would still be a really good chance for Fed to make some serious history. He would be up for it, big time.
All those 'ifs', 'buts' and 'maybes'.. but an exciting prospect nonetheless. :)

No way, Nadal is definitely going to win French Open. I am really doubting whether Federer can reach the Finals this time..
OSmeone - May 10, 2006 08:24 PM (GMT)
I think that Federer can definitely get to the final- he still has a certain aura even on clay courts, so whether or not he is the 2nd best clay courter or not is irrelevant: he has the *mental power* over practically everyone and that should see him to the final. And I truly believe that he will beat nadal there after coming from 0-6 0-6 6-6 (0-6) down :D

Nadals the in form player on clay, but Fed is pretty good and the psychological edge might make all the difference here. Federers on the verge of making tennis history, and must feel he's destined to win.Nadal knows that too.
But, lets enjoy the Rome final first B)
Henman is rubbbish - May 16, 2006 09:52 PM (GMT)
Agreed Rafa did very well!Long may it continue! Love Federer too.Not sure of his fitness-more mistakes and rough rides this year than ever before?

Even though Nadal won in Rome I still think Federer has a very good chance of winning. A lot can happen in a G.S over 5 sets over 2 weeks . An awful lot
SuperBRAT - May 22, 2006 07:47 PM (GMT)
Good to see the confidence in federer, glad I am not the only one. I have a small wager on fed to do the slam, very small indeed but nic eif he did it.
