I don't care if I came 4th, it was good showing and I am happy with it :D I don't tak eit that seriously, and I don't care who pipped me into 4th either. In fact I am glad it was Ob as I liked most ofo his songs a lot. And it was close - in fact I got more votes later on roflmao If I wanted to get more votes I coudl have picked Queen too cos it is obvious they are really popular on here, bu personalyl I wanted to be faithful to me faves and do a mix. As you knwo I liek Queen but am nto a huge fan. I do have some of their stuff though as my partner loves them. :)

Well I have picked Queen, Aretha, the Supremes and the Jackson 5 so I would say I have mixed it up even if I have stuck to Motown and various rock :shrug:

And I prefer to stick to my own musical tastes rather than selling out; I have come close to putting on the Beatles and Blondie a few times but thought I would use the songs that I like a little bit more; which are shockingly all by the same group of bands :lol:

My only other favourite artists that I haven't put up are Kate Bush and Cher as I have so much by all the others I thought I'd explore their repertoire rather than delving into the Cher archives :)

Od you should mention Kate Bush cos I have toyed with her every round and decided against it because I wa snto sure how it would go down and most of my faves are not the commonly known tracks and I felt Wuthering Heights might be a cop out. Have you go thte Kick Inside album? I LOVE it to death. :D Cher isnt; my fave but I really fancied Gypsies Tramps and Thieves cos it's a fun! That is the album I used to use when I was an insomniac as it lulled me off to sleep - not co sit was boring, bu tit is very realxing and ebby-flowy, in fact it is a concept album :) I recommend to any Kate Bush fan, it's a meisterwerk.

I occasionaly hear Kate Bush on radio 2. Babooshka, Wuthering Heights, Army Dreamers, Man with the Child, etc and Runnign Up that Hill is on a lot - great song. :D They played he rlatest one a lot though, King fo the Mountain.

I've heard he rin a club - remember Utah Siants? A Dance track ASomething Good - they sampled Kate Bush Cloudbusting 'know that something good si gonna happen'! It was intersting. The Greatest Hit si sgood, but I woudl recommend you try an early album cos there are soem gems on them. Lionheart is another good one. :)
