What you guys up to? Today we are having a fundraiser for breast cancer charity, then tonight we are having our halloween party :yahoo: :yahoo: Some of the lads are dressing up as the spice girls and doing a few numbers on the stage and im posh spice (it aint easy buying size 12 stillettos :huh: ). The best of it is, one of my staff, Scott, is 22 stone, and we are dressing him up as baby spice in a little white dress :o Im really looking forward to tonight roflmao

I don't believe in Halloween, hiwever, my niece beggs me to take her and friends every year, so I'll suppose I'll be doing the same this year.

I decorate my house to excess and have lights everywhere, adn the same kids come back each year cos they love it. My neighbours think I'm mad though, one of them says I'm a witch! roflmao

Tonight oen fo the Trick or Treater's parents phorographed my house as they said ti was that good! roflmao

No party though as they seem to be on weekend and I had to go for a family meal instead. :)

As for Halloween...Cant stand it! I live with my grandparents and I dont want them having to put up with the hassle of people knocking on door about 20 times in one night! And it frightens them when people repeatadly knock like trick or treaters sometimes do so i hate halloween!

No it's always been quite a nice celebration :D

I did not get as many trick or treaters as expected )previous years it's been mad form 5 pm but no kids came until about 6.30 pm this time and were all goen before 8pm. I wonder if my horrid neighbour has put people off coming to my house cos she has spread gossip abotu me that isnt; true? I know this becasue people told me. :rolleyes: Anayway I still did about 40 cos I counted the bags out in advance. They all got a lollipop and a fun sized Mars or Twix. And soem got soem extra sweets with that too. Not bad going really. :D

Anyway Pebs I was glad they finsihed early cos the other year I had wierd older kids banging on the door at 9.30pm and once I had soem drunks at midnight, so I lock up the door and shut all the curtains early nwo to eb safe. At least no eggs to clean off thsi year, nor pickle donions thrown in the toilet window!

I dont mind the kids who come trick or treating with their parents... Its just the older ones who get cheeky and expect loadsa stuff from you :doh: And sometimes you get like groups of 6 going around together! I mean what the heck do you give all them each when they knock at your door... you'll be cleared out by the end of the night!

Pebs I know what you mean about how cold it was last night :o I sat 90 minutes at a football game then walked home 45 minutes in it! Absolutely froze, about got neumonia!

Oh I am nice really to the kids. Some of them are ungrateful little gits but it's worth it for the ones who appreciate it. :D I was getting soem older kids before causing trouble but not this year. I think my standing up to my awful neighbours may have given them the dont; mess with me message, cos I'm pretty sure it was them who egged my windows and stuff last year and no trouble this time. I do the ones with parents mainly unless there is just one or two. I had abotu 10 kids at once though and I lost track of who had sweets! roflmao

I hate it when those older kids start being stupid and egg your house! I dont think i have had anyone ever egg my house but if it happens it must be annoying and the next day seeing egg splattered all over your windows isn't going to be nice :(

I know. And it is so hard to remove. Teh sines managed to get my bedroom window and it was one that onyl opens out at the top, so I coudl tno clean it off easily form the inside as I coudl nto reach it. I dont; have a window cleaner so I had to keep spraying it with flash bleach for days (which was hard as I could not reach it directly adn my arm was killingn me) and wait for some rain too to loosen it. It took week sto remove. My porch was okay cos I could reach it to scrape it with a knife and scourer. It really is hassle I tell you :angry: Bloody kids!
