Think someone was clutching at staws there.. But he won It was never in any doubt was it, because he played awesome , breathtaking Tennis.
Well done Tim :ok:
He won there in 1999 and 2002 I think? So the crowd just love him . He is such a popular player anyway. Another rise in the rankings is on the cards. A Fed / Henman final would be just fantastic. :yahoo:
BTW that live feed was just really so very good. Thanks for that :D

Didnt Murray knock him out first round last year?
JymJilly - October 25, 2006 03:57 PM (GMT)
Cant remember :(
Another match on now. Warwinka
ark_28 - October 25, 2006 04:02 PM (GMT)
Pretty good effort I suppose I think he will struggle though if he gets Warwinka in round 2, that kid can play!
JymJilly - October 25, 2006 04:36 PM (GMT)
Why would he struggle? He might very well lose . But Tim can play too you know.
JymJilly - October 25, 2006 04:41 PM (GMT)
Calleri is serving for the 1st set now.
And he chokes it. Tiebreak time.
SerenaW19 - October 25, 2006 04:41 PM (GMT)

SerenaW19 - October 25, 2006 04:43 PM (GMT)
Yes good memories like his Queens run :)

My memory has just gone but I am trying to think of the other indoors one he always does well at or has done in the past. He beat Haas once there in the final

Becuase I just feel his game matches up very very well against Henmans so does Calleri for that matter so either way its not going ot be easy for him

For some reason they played a 5 set final there and Henman won it in 3 without dropping serve

Yes he did  I am sure he would have loved to win it at home and all that.
Anyway he should be ok here until the 1/4 final where he might play Nalbandian again
Hopefully Nalbandian will lose before then  Not too bad a draw apart from that minor hurdle ;) If only. :P
ark_28 - October 25, 2006 05:02 PM (GMT)
Looking at the draw I think its will probably be a Federer V Nalbandian final

Well if its Henman he will win and if its Nalbandian he will win.
Foregone conclusion

For once I agree with you!! But I do think it will be a Federer V Nalbandian Final, although Nalbandian got stuffed last week he is the moer liekly to beat Federer on a given day

ark are you the type who goes for the baseline players and the big servers? Because it seems to me you dont want Tim to win but yet you are from England? Which seems pretty odd to me.

Yes, I do like basliners, and I do like Nalbys style, of play, Im not actually from England, and even if I was I personally dont believe tennis is about nationality apart from in Davis Cup.
