the BBC? As in, the way it is today? I joined both it, and WTAWORLD, around the same time as LDF.

Well I started posting back in January of this year but very infrequently and under a diff name (which I can't even remember now) and started regular posting around Miami this year.

I know a lot of people on this board have been posting on the BBC for well over a year now though :)

When did you first go on the BBC SF?

Don't tell me, Serenafan??!! I started at the vert startof December last year. I started the WTA at the same time.

No I don't think so, my name wasn't very explicit hence why I can't remember it. I think I did only really post about Serena though so after she lost to Daniela I didn't really have much to talk about :lol:

I joined BBC during the semi-finals of Roland Garros, about a day or two after that damn 3 min rule started! :angry:
I was reading the messages for about a week, then I just joined, as I originally wanted to post something on the Rugby League board, then I ended up becoming obsessed with the tennis board! :lol:

I joined the Beeb in mid-October 2005 (so it's been a year now!), and as you can see I joined CC soon after it was created. :)

Oh, well then I didn't join the BBC around the same time as you. I'm pretty sure we joined WTA around the same time though.

I joined the beeb way back when it first started. It started at the WTA Dubai tourny, my first post was about venus not retiring :D

And then lDF and sB came out of nowhere also :D

Probably - I joined right at the start of this year, though didn't post until February.

I joined the Beeb this time last year because I wanted to post about the live matches I was watching at the Kremlin Cup. After that I took a big break and didn't really start posting properly until January-ish of this year. I then took a hiatus from tennis boards from the French Open time and joined this board in August.

I joined the BBC boards back in January... I remember some of the first posts I got involved in were when Tim was playing in Zagreb and people were saying they were surprised he got to the semi's etc...

I can't remember when I joined the beeb or WTAworld. :shrug:

I joined the Beeb in April 2005, this was before both the new Beeb board AND the current one, dl, Pebs, Jill et all were all there, dl was busy handing awards out to APIS :rolleyes: roflmao

Ive been posting on the Beeb for over two years. The messageboard in its current format started in about April 2005, before that there was a much more basic system. You couldnt reply to individual posts, for example.

No, I joined in April 2005, it was different back then, the board was blue, and whenever you replied your post went right under that post as opposed to the end of the thread...

The current one started up at Wimbledon last year...

yeah, the last page has threads about Wimbledon 2005 on it, so I thought the board had started then

Thats right . It did start at Wimbledon 2005. The one before that started around April ,to be honest its hard to remember what it was like but it wasnt as good. The current one had a quote facility(which they removed) and introduced the 3 minute rule. That was the beginning of the end .The trolls finished it off :(

I was looking through some of those ones from Wimbledon to USO 2005 before. They make for interesting reading really, there are a lot more posts from people you don't see around much today like TQJ, Bluemoby and theexpress. It's a shame really; couldn't find any posts by Apos :o which is probably a good things :rolleyes:

Apos had made his famous 'switch' in behaviour once that new board was set up, beforehand he was one of the most popular ones believe it or not! :o

That's about when I joined the Beeb on the motorsport thread -around March/April. I first posted on beeb Tennis around June/July last year during the great posting war between HeyyUpp and Bored! Bored! Bored! :D

I've been posting since the day after Maria lost her wimbledon title in 2005 - the disgusting reaction and gloating stoked up my fire inside and i've been posting ever since as a result! roflmao
However now Maria has a slam again i'm winding down roflmao
