First of all may I just say this has absolutely nothing at all to do with Centre Court and its posters.
This is just a warning to all on here who may post or are members of other Tennis messages boards excluding the BBC.
This morning I received a death threat via my Email. May I once again say it was NOT a PM and it has nothing to do with anybody on Centre Court.
It went to my Email address.
It was completely out of the blue and it took me less than one minute to figure out who it was from.
My only crime I feel was to join the new BBC messages boards and I have posted on a few threads and started my own threads. Yesterday on the new BBC boards I was was personally abused in a very nasty way in a message posted on there. Needless to say it was completely out of the blue and without provacation. I had the message removed. I just cannot put up with that and I will not put up with that. I have only posted about Tennis and nothing else on the new boards.
This person has set up a false / new email account simply to send me this death threat.
This person said.
" You sad pathetic excuse for a human being" followed by the death threat.
This person calls themself Tim No.1 . The subject was Henman in Madrid and this persons email address is <henmanno1@hotmail.co.uk>

The only way this person could have known my Email address was for me to infact have joined any other message boards which I have in the past. This person is an ex BBC member who has now joined the new BBC board as well as having " interests " in " Other" message boards.
I have never given out me email address to anybody apart from two very trusted members on here so I know it has come from a membership accountaway from here.

First of all I would like to congratulate the writer of the death threat for.
A. taking the time and trouble of opening a new email address to abuse people..
B. For being such a coward and not revealing who you are.
C.I think you saying "You sad pathetic excuse for a human being" fits you perfectly.
D. Anybody with 1/2 a brain could easily figure out who you are and why you are such a coward.

It is a criminal offence to abuse people via the internet. No wonder the false email address. Also I bet Invision free would only be to happy to know what kind of person runs one of their message boards. And even though the Email address is false. The ISP addy will be the same.
So in conclusion I urge anybody on here who recieves anything like this to report them. And be aware that some mesage boards harbour low life scum. So if you post anywhere else apart from the BBC you have been warned.

Aw thanks Andy very much, Just be warned about other boards apart from this and the BBC. I reckon this person has taken exception because in the past we had differing veiws about Tennis on the BBC and I joined another board a while back.
It was to fool me into reading the email . And this person tried to hide their identity . But I sussed it. Do not worry it did not upset me.

I think it's tragic that someone felt the need to do that, I mean I like tennis as much as anyone who posts on these boards but I wouldn't possibly consider such a response to a difference in opinion. Yes just be warned the BBC are fine as no one knows your email. But any other board they do. Well the creator of the board does and he / she could pass it on .

They hide behind the internet and use false email accounts. I know this person reads this board . So this has shown this person up in their true colours. I hope all the members of that board take heed of this and leave. If S.B was here she would vouch for what I am saying as she has had very similar experiences.
She never bowed down to the insults she got on the BBC and she got what I have just got.

I dont think anyone does not want lively opiniated debate, however there is a difference between being opiniated on tennis matters rather then on unfound drug matters to players you have never met or know. The fact that you have been banned from the bbc several times says it all.

I had similar to you, but it was from a friend's friend. Don't ask me why .... I'd never even met that friend's "friend". My name was on my friends e-mail list whenever she sent out jokes and so was his name ... all of a sudden I started receiving these crude e-mails from him and then he went a bit below the belt saying something about my "dead" mother, which made me cringe a bit. My friend said she never ever spoke to him about me and didn't tell him my mother had died, so how he knew I'll never know. At first ... when he started being crude, I kept replying "you wish or you should be so lucky" roflmao , so that got him rilled and then he started going even further. I know I shouldn't have replied to him, but at first I took it as a joke.

Anyway, he's blocked and my friend doesn't put myself and him on the same list. I did threaten him with reporting him and all of a sudden he stopped. They are chickens and as you say .... they can't do that sort of thing in the real world, so they do it on computers. Weaklings, that's all they are.

I think that is absolutely disgusting and tbh I am not surprised, becasue if it is who I think it is he simply cannot let go. The man is absolutley full of venom and hatred. From what I have expereinced form him and also what i have seen him say about others, the man is a sick, depraved psychopathic control freak devoid of morality and common decency. He's also a right foulmouthed vicous and nasty little .....! Funny how after the Vamos gate stuff on the BBC, it was him who came back with his sidekick Apos to rake ove rold wounds and stir up trouble. He claims that it was the likes of me and Dav who did that, but he came bakc long after the dust had settled just to stick his filthy oar in. And that led to him getting banned from the BBC becaus ehe unleashed a torrent of sexually graphic abuse on me which wa smad emore distasteful and vile but his abhorrent and derogatory references to my disability.
