nice, its alot easier than doing all different types by hand only realizing you cant get the desired effect

How do I make something with scanlines? What do I do in Photoshop to make the whole document scanlined?

After you create that shape, you go to i think its edit> define pattern, and then in the document you want to put the scanlines in you go to the fill tool and set it to pattern and then your pattern should be one of the preset ones. :)
