not everyone lives a perfect life.
its a matter of statement. it is very rare that someone doesnt have something that they would change from their past, or one part of their life that they would tweak. for most, its something small, like the house they live in, their annoying sibling, or their job. but some people would change a lot more. because for some, the thing that brings down their lifestyle... is a lot worse. an abusive parent? or maybe one so far into the grips of drugs that they just dont care. maybe they were raped - maybe numerous times. you can never tell with people. because things that haunt them, are usually hidden away.
some people put up with their pain. others run away.
for those that run, they don't have to be alone. there are others like them, who have been hurt or neglected, abused and misused. all you have to do is look. one group has brought together kids from across america in hopes that they don't have to go through life alone. there's only one rule when you join - don't tell anyone who isn't in the group.
there will always be danger in trusting others.
with trust comes the risk of being betrayed, hurt... so the group, called the gypsies because of their method of travelling from town to town, picking up new members and keeping a low profile, make sure that no one knows of any one's past, or the fact that they are run aways. for the most part they live in small family groups, working to pay the rent. while some try and make friends with the normal kids in school, others decide to keep to their fellow gypsies.
