Title: NEW MUSIC PLAYER!!!
Description: NEW!!!
Lugana - February 9, 2004 02:17 AM (GMT)
After much scripting and poking around in the Admin section, I have finally created a music player for the forums. Take a look at the bottom of the screen.
Enjoy.

Cool
Is there any songs playing?
If so, mine isn't working :(
Lugana - February 9, 2004 03:09 AM (GMT)
Well, you have to click the play button at the bottom of the screen. It looks something like this, ( > )

My computer must really be screwed, that or, windows media player just sucks for me...meh, probably both but the 'buttons' i can click is the volume control and the screen
Lugana - February 9, 2004 03:19 AM (GMT)
Hmmm… that’s not good. Does anyone else have that problem?

Haven't tried it yet, since the school comps don't have speakers, but i wanted to ask: Is there only one song? Or are there more?
DragonLady4 - February 9, 2004 01:33 PM (GMT)
all the buttons are greyed out for me, but I AM at school and therefore media player probably isn't installed..(I mkean, FLASH isn't installed  ) The only ones that work are volume and mute...oh, and the screen, but that doesn't do anything
Lugana - February 9, 2004 05:34 PM (GMT)
Hmmm… I might be able to fix this.
Oh, and yes there is going to be only one song at a time (for now). I need to learn the scripting before I can make one with some options.
*Lugana rolls up his sleeves and takes the money wrench*

hey you didn't script that I did!! and yes you can have more than one song.your song's not working because there are spaces in script.
Akira - February 10, 2004 01:00 AM (GMT)
At least i wasn't the only one with that problem ^_^
Lugana - February 10, 2004 03:29 AM (GMT)
I stole the idea from this one site (Which must have been yours). After I saw what command you used, I used it as well. I was too lazy to look it up in the reference book. I will program it later to have more songs. Thank you for catching the problem. Saves me some time.

I'f that's not the problem then your midi URL just doesn't work.
also I didn't mean that last post to sound so mean.
Lugana - February 12, 2004 01:21 AM (GMT)
Oh, no! That post was not mean! If you had never programmed it into your site, I would have never had the idea to put one into this site.
But yes, you are right. The URL is the problem. I was trying to upload it from my computer straight to the site. It seems that that will not work. The only way it is going to work is to find somewhere to upload the song to and use that the URL to run the music player.
Right now, I am still looking for somewhere to do that. These forums can only upload pictures, so that won’t work.
If any of you have an idea of where I can upload the song to, just let me.
And hey, I am the Admin. You might just be rewarded like many before. I might not just be posts this time…

I'm getting this error, guys. It still won't play for me
The Thought Fox - February 26, 2004 12:12 PM (GMT)
I don't have the right plug-in at home so i have to keep clicking on this box that appears. It's annoying. Is there any way I can turn it off on my account?
Cloud - February 26, 2004 09:32 PM (GMT)
If it has an error message then the music is not a .vmv .
Lugana PM me them URL you put in the code.
