Hi, and welcome to Authors United.
It's a little quiet here - always has been - but it's simply because we're busy with uni work and other commitments. Plus writing takes time, and appeals to smaller numbers of internet users than more general forums. We hope you stay and enjoy yourself anyway. :D

Yes, bless her, lol
So what genres do you like writing/reading?
luciddream - March 28, 2006 12:14 PM (GMT)
I generally read horror and fantasy, but my favourite book would probably be The Magus by John Fowles. I write poetry and screenplays mostly, although I've written some shorts and I'm working on a horror novel at the moment. Genre-wise I write horror, fantasy and thrillers, although my current screenplay project is a tragicomic drama about one person's journey to realise their true self.
I just read your Fairy Story by the way, you have a lot of talent =)
Is that your usual genre? How long have you been writing?
aleana15 - March 30, 2006 01:48 PM (GMT)
*blushes*
Glad you like it.
I guess it is probably my usual genre - I cetainly read alot of fantasy anyway. But I occasionally have bouts of writing poetry, short bits of modern and some fanfic.
Not entirely sure when I started writing. Fairy Story was started about 5 years ago (and thats a very scary thought!!!!) but I guess I'd been writing for 2 years before that with the Creative writing Club at school.
And at the moment....well certainly not doing as much as I would like - for which I blame uni work!! But I was told by my bible study group the other day that we should specifically set time apart to be creative - and you should always do what you're told.... ^_^
