Okay, so this room is here to introduce people to new bands or composers. The rules are

*When you post, either comment on a band someone has just mentioned, or post up about a new band.
*Don't just post up a band name, try to describe their style or rate them.
*If they have a useful website, you could post it, they often have a few tracks on it for people to hear
*No piracy. And I'm not talking Aharrr matey, I'm talking sending people music, just so no one gets in trouble with The Law.
*Try to avoid repeating bands.
*NO FLAMING OTHER PEOPLE'S MUSIC TASTE
*And when you post, make it worth people's time. Not just: lol. Or: yes. Contribute!

that's all I can think of atm, you guys tend to be better behaved than some forum folks. :D

So I'll start. I've just bought Panic! At The disco's album: A Fever You Can't Sweat Out.

It's strange, like Rock/Dance. All the tracks have a good beat running through them, and the lyrics are often cheeky and make you laugh.

Oh cool- good idea DL.
This is good topic for me!

I roadie for a band called Penny Red. They're a four piece male band from Essex/Suffolk. According to their website (Penny Red) they play a bit of punk, soul and rock which some songs i think are more pop like. Think theres something in their set list for everyone- deep to light hearted and dancy with a few covers- but mainly their own work.
If u ask nicely- i might be able to get u the cd they recorded- u can hear some of their songs on their website- but the newer stuff which i like is not on there yet- so you'd have to come to a gig to hear those until the next recording!

Well hope not bored u all too much. BUt if you're ever back down here and would like to come to a gig-just send me pm and i'll let u know where and when they're next playing, or look on their site- the gigs are listed there too!

How's that for an advert!
Let them and us know what u all think! :)
