Pre-Set Character RPG Rules

This is a new type of RPing created by yours truly. The Pre-set Characters system is a simple concept.

1) A RPG creator explains in detail their setting and storyline, and then gives us a very sketchy outline of events they wish to unfold as the story progresses.
2) Then they give us a “cast” for their story. Using the rules of the Create and Play RPG Character Submission they will develop the main characters of their story in the submission.
3) Once the characters are approved the auditioning begins

There are no rules for the auditioning process. You could hold a little writing contest. You could randomly pick. You could ask certain members if they would like a particular part. For all we care, you could have the member that’s auditioning write a song for you. Just keep it sane, that’s all we’re asking.



FAQ:

Q) Can I add to the cast as the story progresses?

A) Yes. If the character is more then a walk through character, you need to go back to the submission, create the character and wait for approving. Then audition or choose the member that is going to play him/her.


Q) Can the same member play more then one character?

A) Yes, up to three characters.


Q) Can I change the pre-set events?

A) If you so wish. You do not need to change the event in your submission. To much work (if you know what I mean)


Q) Can these rules be changed?

A) If you can convince me and Thought Fox to change them. We are always open for new ideas.
