Title: Contest #8 Results

The Thought Fox - October 5, 2005 12:07 PM (GMT)
Congratulations to all those who actually entered the Writing To Music contest. I'm sorry it may have been a little harder than previous contests, but i really wanted to see what you guys came up with. Writing to music is how I've got most of my ideas for scenes in my stories.

BTW, for those who are interested, the music was "Helicopter Ride" by David Arnold from Tomorrow Never Dies. The only reason i say this is because I hinted that it was connected to the suggestion that the music was from Stargate SG-1. The connection is that David Arnold wrote the music for the Stargate movie (though i don't think he does it for the series). Anyway, that's enough useless factoids for today.

So, the winner. You want to know who the winner is, do you? Well, I gave it a great deal of thought, I sat there reading them with the music playing over and over again, and I've decided that the winner........is..........ALEANA15

While all the entries were very good, hers was brilliant. I could almost see the eagle flying along as the first violin piece kicks in.

So that's a nice round 50 posts for Aleana. Well done.

(You may now complain that she has won three contests in a row!)

we're doing painting to music in art, and its called synsethesia (sp prob. wrong)

I think that term applies to writing too.

Well done Aleana!
Now move over let others share the points lol.! ;) :D :P

Oh Aleana may not see this for a while because shes got computer probs at uni- her laptop won't connect or something. Sure she'll get on when she can! :)

^_^ thankies

True, no internet in my room yet (darn laptop!), but I do occasionally hijack a uni computer :P

So the music was from a james bond film - I didn't think of that.

Personally I think I've been watching The Day After Tomorrow too many times!!

gah, I should have known it was James Bond, after all, it IS one of TF's little obsessions... :P

The Thought Fox - October 7, 2005 09:36 AM (GMT)
<_< I'm not that obsessed!
