Title: Have you read the da Vinci code?
Description: simply out of curiosity...

DragonLady4 - May 18, 2005 10:56 AM (GMT)
Just out of me own curiosity, how many members on here have actually read the book that's dominating the top 10?

I haven't, heh.

Kaithar - May 18, 2005 12:30 PM (GMT)
i have, I got it as a present before i had heard of it.

aleana15 - May 18, 2005 03:54 PM (GMT)
I haven't read the book, but I read an article about it in the paper.

Gogeta - May 19, 2005 06:43 AM (GMT)
Heh-heh.
I loved it.

I reviewed it, and got printed!

*yes*

^_^

The Thought Fox - May 19, 2005 09:47 AM (GMT)
Well done, gogeta!

i havent read it, and i don't even know what its about, but i will read it eventually

Gogeta - May 19, 2005 02:49 PM (GMT)
Thanks. But you could find out what it's about from my post in the 'Book Reviews' thread.

^_^

The Thought Fox - May 19, 2005 07:48 PM (GMT)
Or i could read the back of the book. Like i did today.

Gogeta - May 20, 2005 03:57 PM (GMT)
LOL, thanks, and that was smart.

:P

aine - May 21, 2005 05:02 PM (GMT)

aleana15 - May 22, 2005 06:13 PM (GMT)
I'm guessing almost every book shop, plus Amazon.com and places like that.

Rapture_Taylore - May 29, 2005 03:31 PM (GMT)
yes you could get the illusrated version
has any one seen the parody on it its called (I think) the Va Dinci Cad when the guy in it got murdered her wrote ' the catholic church had me killed' and the main characters going 'maybe it is an anagram' it seems so rare

aine - May 30, 2005 09:19 AM (GMT)
lol
i want to read that too.
there's so many books i want to read...but i just dont have the time :(
stupid school...it's getting in the way of my reading

Rapture_Taylore - June 5, 2005 01:26 PM (GMT)
actually I read all 4 of Dan Browns books in a week and that was when we were at school and I dont think I was doing that bad at school so I shouldn't interfere that much ..... I think

aine - June 12, 2005 09:20 AM (GMT)
i think my parents interfere more than my school work does.
i have starrted reading it and now i'm half way through it.
it's so good, i cant put it down!

Rapture_Taylore - June 12, 2005 02:51 PM (GMT)

aine - June 12, 2005 03:42 PM (GMT)
have to agree
(loves the book too <3)

The Thought Fox - June 12, 2005 07:27 PM (GMT)
I must read the book. Once i've read the discworld book i'm on, then all the potters, then the new potter, i'll read it!

aine - June 14, 2005 04:34 PM (GMT)
i saw you reading that at the dentist ^-^

Rapture_Taylore - June 19, 2005 02:10 PM (GMT)
thats random anyway back to the Da Vinci code I seriously didn't guess the code for the last puzzle about the knight it was so obvious to when you think about it!!!!!

The Thought Fox - June 21, 2005 11:47 AM (GMT)
Fortunately, i have no idea what you're on about so you didn't spoil it, RT.

And, funnily enough Aine, i saw yu too!

aleana15 - June 21, 2005 06:12 PM (GMT)
I've got far too many books on my 'to read' list. I've just finished Harry Potter 4, so just one more to go before I've re-read those, and after that I've got Northern Lights to re-read and Abdorsen to read for the first time. I will try an read the Da Vinci code, but its going to have to wait a while...

Kaithar - June 21, 2005 08:11 PM (GMT)
see, now i would work on reading books you haven't read before and re-read books when you don't have any that you haven't already read.

stressederica33 - June 21, 2005 09:07 PM (GMT)
hmm but the new hp books out sn so u need to know whats happened so far so ure ready for the new one. :D

The Thought Fox - June 22, 2005 09:55 AM (GMT)
exactly. as soon as i finish Lords and Ladies, and the animes i stole/borrowed from DL, i need to read all 5 hp books - but i've only got a few weeks, and i'm wasting too much time on here!

Kaithar - June 22, 2005 02:10 PM (GMT)
well it shouldn't take long to read all the hp books. When is the new one out anyway?

aleana15 - June 22, 2005 02:46 PM (GMT)
16th of July - it really can't be good that I know that

Thats why I've been gradually re-reading them all, and also because I have been helping people with their fan fics. But besides, they're as good a read second time round, which is something I can't say about many books.

And its taken me about 2 weeks to read Hp4 so I should be able to read HP5 by the 16th :D

stressederica33 - June 22, 2005 09:00 PM (GMT)
lol- well i would've said the date if u hadn't! :P :D
hmm- think it might take me longer... plus i don't think i'll be able to buy hp6 in hardback so i'll have to wait til one of my friends had read it.... :(

Kaithar - June 22, 2005 10:35 PM (GMT)
i have too much free time on my hands for a book to take me that long to read. I often spend hours on end reading as i have nothing better to do.

aleana15 - June 23, 2005 08:54 AM (GMT)
Persobnally I would love to just sit and read all day, specially if its nice so you can read outside... ^_^

And stessederica, you are welcome to borrow my book once I've read it - otherwise who would i discus all the plot develpoments with? :P :D

stressederica33 - June 23, 2005 08:14 PM (GMT)
:D cool.

(btw- aleana- just about to send u e-mail as u not reply to ure texts!!!) :P :D

Rapture_Taylore - June 26, 2005 04:20 PM (GMT)

stressederica33 - June 26, 2005 07:48 PM (GMT)

Rapture_Taylore - June 29, 2005 10:02 AM (GMT)
and sleeping.ZzZzZzZzZz......

The Thought Fox - July 30, 2005 08:33 PM (GMT)
GRRR. The library has about 40 copies, but they're all out. I want to read the book, but i do't want to buy it in case i don't like it.

aleana15 - August 3, 2005 04:07 PM (GMT)
Reserve it, or have a look in the charity shops and see if they've got one, at leat then you're only paying a couple of quid.

aine - September 1, 2005 08:06 PM (GMT)
...or borrow it from your best friend (^-^)
