NOTE: Some of you will recognise the name from my LA Zelda char, but this is slightly different. The LA char was based on a short Zelda story I wrote, but I based a new, original novel on that short story, so this Jolku is from the novel.

Part I: The easy part

Name – Jolku

Race(optional)- Human

Age- 21

Occupation(optional)- Thief

Weapons(optional, but very highly recommended)- A sword, a Dagger, and Arropes (arrows with ropes attached to them, the arrow being strong enough to support a grown man climbing the rope)

Appearance/height(optional)/weight(optional)- A thin and fairly tall man. He is not incredibly muscular, though he is quick and nimble. He has spiky, blond hair, but this is hidden under his hooded cloak, that only shows his face from the nose downwards. The cloak is made from Twilight Silk, a material that can absorb the darkness and shadows, making him blend into the darkness. He wears a black tunic and trousers, and bears a bow, sword sheath and quiver on his back; he also a potato sack for large items of loot. Around his waist is a belt with a small pouch for loose coins and a dagger.

Abilities-Very quick and nimble. Master of Stealth. His swordplay and aim for a bow is average, but he excels at climbing. His cloak allows him to appear as a shadow, but only in darkness or shadow.

Weaknesses- He is naive. Being loyal to the rules of the Thieves' Guild, he refuses to kill any of his victims. In fact, he would only kill in self defense. He is also mortal, and his swordplay can be bettered by others.

Part II: The Big One

Biography-

Jolku's parents were thieves. Even their parents were thieves. So Jolku's father and mother brought him up in the same way they were brought up. He spent his early years in the sewers of the great city of Cresote. His father taught him how to steal, how to sneak in and out of buildings unnoticed, and his mother taught him the importance of moving from hideout to hideout.

When he was merely thirteen, his parents left him to fend for himself, as theives did. Jolku moved up into the streets and alleys, living as a petty housebreaker. His skills gradually improved and he could loot larger targets such as shops and apartments. When he was fifteen, he heard that his parents had been arrested and executed, and he felt indifferent- they had told him that this day would come.

His skills grew over the years and he began hitting greater targets. He earned great respect and admiration among the underground community when, at the young age of eighteen, he successfully managed to break into the royal palace and stole the King's Scepter. Using the money he earned from the local corrupt pawn shops, he bought a horse and set off for other lands, other loot, with a thirst for adventure.
