Hi People
I'm a first year uni student, and I'm lucky enough to be able to go to Uni with a few of my old school friends. Yet, there is onething that is bothering me about it.
A lot of my best friends from school have gone out and gotten jobs, so i dont really see them anymore. I can understand, considering how hard it is to get into Uni these days, but i still dont like it. I dont want to lose contact with those people that i knew so well. Ocassionally i see them, but its not really the same.
Another thing, people are starting to reveal their true feelings about other friends, like who from our group last year that they dont like. We were all a big group last year, but we just had a few factions. Now people are starting to say how they "Dont really like .... anymore." It gets quite anoying to see people that you still care about getting baged out. Worst thing is, the person bagging out your friend is still your friend. And the friend that was getting bagged out by the friend is also bagging out that friend. (If you can understand me)
Its really confusing, but hey, thats what you get when your a guy and you surround yourself with a group of girls.

about the top thing i would personally keep i contact through e-mails or over forums like this one if they are on any with you, It will be hard to keep in contact though as i have found with some of my freinds that have gone off to uni
You have to really work at it to keep in touch with your uni friends. With Gemz I (try to) send her letters and meet up when she comes home, I try to meet up with GC when he comes back (as long as he gives me enough notice :P to GC) um, with TF I have to organise him to meet up with me, lol.
But if most of your friends are girls, hell, they'll probably be nasty. People can really change at uni too. One of my friends who swore that alcohol is evil urine of the devil is now proud that he is slowly losing his liver and going to rock concerts things where he never did that before. Weird.
I use texts, unpromted phone calls, emails and MSN to keep in touch with everyone. Texts and phone calls are good, because they're not expected. :D
