Whilst the rules state that only one character may be submitted in any one thread, I have included two. One is a human, the other is her horse. They are both in this post as you will not see one without the other when travelling. If they are seperated, then others around them that know their past know that something is very wrong.
Name – Galiea Hawthorne (Often called Gail) (Sansi.)
Race - Human. (Horse.)
Occupation - She is a warrior. (War-horse for Gail.)
Weapons - A long silver sword, with detail carved into the hilt, and green gemstones. (A powerful kick.)
Appearance - Mid length blonde hair, with fair skin. She is quite short, and is of slim build. She often wears a green dress, with a white base. This base is visiable through the slits in the skirt and the sleeves. The dress is based on a celtic dream, and has a simple cord belt around the middle, usually reasting above her sword belt. She is currently 21 years of age. (Sansi (her horse) is black-grey, with a long flowing mane and tail, both of which are black. Her legs are black, and she is quite stocky, like a minature shire horse. She is 6 years old.)Abilities - Is a good strategic planner, and often helps decide battle plans in her home village. She is also an expert swordsperson, and there are not many that can defeat her in combat. She is a master horseperson, and is often seen riding her horse, Sansi. (Sansi is fleet of foot, and can jump high/wide. She will attemp to save her mistress at all costs.)
Weaknesses - She is unable to fight a good friend, even if they have turned bad. She has a weak right knee, which will often give way if she has to run for long periods of time. It can also be succeptable in battle, if the enemy knows. She is extremely attached to her horse. She is very untrusting of men. (Sansi is scared of the dark, and will only go into dark places if she is guided by someone she trust immensly. She also has a weak back, which is why Gail rides her, being light, she will not damage it.)
Biography - Gail was brought up in the small village of Farfare. She was the daughter of a lady in attendance to the leader's wife. She soon proved, however, her ability with a sword and quick mind. Her mother always taught her not to judge people on looks alone, to get to know their personality. Her mother taught her that compassion was just as effective as hatred. At the age of 11 she saw her mother killed in a raid, through a gap in the flooring where her mother had hidden her. She never knew her father, as he left when she was young. The village leader took her in and gave her the best training. It was four years after she arrived that she saved her horse (then a foal) from being trampled by a run-away cart. She was later given Sansi as her own, after it was decided that she was unfit for use in war. (Sansi was rescued from being trampled by a run-away cart. She was bred at the main palace, and was rejected by her mother, but because she had the makings of a fine war horse, she was kept and fed by stablehands. After Gail had saved her, they struck up a strong bond. Gail was given Sansi when it was disovered she had a weak back, and was unfit for men to ride.)
You don’t have to worry about creating the horse as a character. As long as you say that she has one in her bio, I am fine with it.
