Woah, woah, hold on, three things. Number one, this should be in the Newbies forum. Second of all, shame on you for all caps. Third of all, since when has Lugana stopped coming around?
aine - July 31, 2004 11:05 AM (GMT)

Lugana - July 31, 2004 04:00 PM (GMT)
I never left this site from what I can remember. I check it at least once a day. I know with my new job and all I don’t have as much time as I did to post here, but I know I won’t be leaving anytime soon. I have a question for you. Who are you?
Oh, welcome to AU. Have a nice stay.
Rebecca - July 31, 2004 05:22 PM (GMT)
This topic is being moved to Newbies section.
And Welcome to Authors United!!!!!!!!! ^_^
Oh and Lugana, who else who would say that they talk on the phone with you. And your friends with him. And Likes The matrixs movies.
Welcome again Shadow. I hope you stay here for along time.
CyanideWyrm - July 31, 2004 06:22 PM (GMT)
This first response directed to aine: As much as I would love to have administrative power, alas, I do not, nor am I a moderator of this forum. As such, my power to move a topic is as powerful as a gerbil's power to stop a nuclear war.
To Shadow, my post was mostly me being a inquisitive bastard, and I commonly am, so you can take most of what I say with a grain of salt. However, thank you for laying off the caps. And go read my story! I've just wrote two chapters, and no one has replied :(
The Thought Fox - July 31, 2004 08:06 PM (GMT)
Greetings, Shadow.
Welcome to Authors United, a criminally underrated, underused forum, but we like it. I am BatchGC, overambitious author and underachieving admin. Take a good look around and post wherever you want.
Beware of Dragonlady 4, Aine, Kaithar and Gemsykins. They will post faster than you can keep up with, but they're really friendly. Honest.
Kaithar - July 31, 2004 08:16 PM (GMT)
im glad you thikn so batch, from the way you started the KCO i thought you believed otherwise :P
you may have notice it took me some time to post a welcome and that would be because i was on a camp of which i am now back from.
anyway back to the point. WELCOME
The Shadow - August 1, 2004 10:19 AM (GMT)
Thanks everyone. Inukensha your a smart one... but lets not give out my identity.
Lugana nice to talk to you again its good to know that you are around, ne ways hows work comn out though, tough workn huh? what is it 15 hour days? Dam.
ne ways i read this article id like to know your guys oppinion.
here it is:
"I think we can all agree that games are in their in infancy. We're all very lucky to be part of this gestation of this art form. Its in fact one of mankinds greatest art form, every at is about story telling, about narrative, and all art forms have been leading up to putting the participant within the story itself, games have done just that. but with this accomplishment has come an unfor seen danger: that people could come to consider their role in the story more important, more engaging then their role in real life."
computer gaming magazine.
thats just a small section of the whole article but what do u think?
The Shadow. :ph43r:
DragonLady4 - August 1, 2004 03:57 PM (GMT)
well, they can be pretty engrossing...
Oh yeah, I'm the DragonLady4 :D or just DragonLady4, or DL4, or DL, or 'it' :D
Dl will do.
And I'm surely not as bad as Batch makes out. Just because I was at school longer than him, and had access to the hyper-fast internet there ;)
I'm in a field atm, how that for something?
CyanideWyrm - August 1, 2004 06:48 PM (GMT)
Hey, I'm in a crappy chair at my grandmothers house! Talk about different locations.
As for the article, I agree with it and disagree with it. Gaming may be advancing by leaps and bounds, but the gaming systems of old will forever be my favorite. In fact, every time I turn on my NES, I hold my breath, because one of these days it's not going to turn on, and I will have lost a precious piece of the past.
That, and I will have about 80 or so games that would be useless. Now excuse me, while I go play my blast from the past.

Well, well, well. It looks like that I finally have a group of people who knows me here. I am the lone Admin no more. Oh, and no, I have not bought that game yet. I don’t think I have played a game since the last time you were here in the middle of nowhere. Oh well, I will here in a month or so when school starts for me.
CyanideWyrm - August 2, 2004 10:13 PM (GMT)
WOAH! Inukensha and Lugana are related?! My entire world has been torn apart! Children screaming, people running, cats riding dogs; it's anarchy!

Didn't lugana tell everyone that we were related? And why is your world torn apart?
Anyway, back on topic.
See ya soon on the forum Shadow, and maybe in real life.
DragonLady4 - August 6, 2004 10:43 AM (GMT)
 um...Loner Child...did you not know that she was his sister??? Even I knew, and I am slooow when it comes to people.
and Lugana, we all know you, we're all hiding round the corner....woooo......
Lugana - August 6, 2004 11:08 PM (GMT)
Lugana jumped from the computer seat. A hundred questions ran through his mind. Are they really hiding around the corner? What are they doing in the middle of nowhere? Where is a corner anyway? Maybe they are behind a tree? Are they in the house? Are they spying on me? Didn’t she say they knew me? Then it hit Lugana all at once.
“Oh no!” Lugana yelled. “The white jackets found me again! How did they find me? Did they track me through the site? Oh crap!”
Lugana ran into his room and grabbed his leather jacket. He had to leave again. Leave the new life he spent the last four summers building. He picked up phone to call his girl friend to say goodbye, but the line was out. They were on to him.
He decided not to waste anymore time. He jumped out the window and bolted down the road.
He ran for three days straight.
He slept.
He ran for another day straight.
He caught a ride.
He slept.
He found himself in a ditch in Mexico.
He caught another ride.
Costumes thought he was an illegal immigrant.
He spent a night in jail.
He slept.
He began to speak Spanish.
He ran across the border back into the US.
He began to speak English.
He saw a sign.
He was in Texas.
He cried.
He stopped crying.
He ran to Florida.
He wondered aimlessly into a city.
He found a library.
He sat down at a computer and posted in “IM NEW”
He ran to New York…
aine - August 8, 2004 04:24 PM (GMT)
theres nothing wrong with me. i am completly house trained and friendly. :D
DragonLady4 - August 8, 2004 08:30 PM (GMT)
Lugana: You just cracked me up :D
aine: house trained...not forum trained :P
Lugana - August 8, 2004 09:00 PM (GMT)
Three days later…
Hey everyone. I am in Europe. I not saying where in Europe, since the white coats may find out, but I am still on the continent.
Oh, Aine is not forum trained? Should I lay down some papers or something.
CyanideWyrm - August 11, 2004 03:38 AM (GMT)
Wow, that is some crazy adventure, Lugana. Oh, and DL, you have no idea how deeply my short term memory loss is. I've repeatedly put on a pair of socks, then put on another pair right after, forgetting I'd already put one on. :\
aine - August 11, 2004 06:34 PM (GMT)
by the way shadow i am not as bad as batch says i am. yes i do type fast and always answer quickly but thats not a reason not to like me. as a person i am slightly insane just slightly nothing major (dont let my signature put you off track) but i'm pretty frindly. :D
Rapture_Taylore - August 15, 2004 02:38 PM (GMT)
she means friendly I think and about her sig we found that quote in the shop the wharf on a car sticker they sold and liked it (who wouldn't?)
aine - August 15, 2004 03:39 PM (GMT)
yer, who wouldnt!
no really i'm perfectly ok as a friend and just a normal person.
The Thought Fox - August 15, 2004 09:02 PM (GMT)
We know you're not really insane, Aine, so you don't have to keep justifying yourself. But every forum has a hyperposting nutter and you are AU's very own hyperposting nutter. You make us a true forum.
And now that everyone's welcomed the shadow, I'm going to shut this topic because otherwise it will get stupidly long and confusing.
