Title: Leika
Description: (For full details see RPG submissions)
DragonLady4 - May 13, 2004 01:52 PM (GMT)
Leika. A world of magic. A world of many worlds. A world of squabbling factions, watching, waiting for the pettiest excuse to leap at each other's throats. A world where anyone can get pulled into the plots. Where anything can happen...
We come across this enigma of a world when the three main factions are the GoldenDragons, SilverBlade and the CrimsonTides. These factions are ruthless in their plotting against one another....they would even pull an innocent in from another world to help implement their plans....or maybe a not so innocent assassin.
ooc:Is that okay? Do we need more or shall I start with my characters?
Lugana - May 13, 2004 04:53 PM (GMT)
Like I said, that’s your choice. If you think there should be more characters, wait for more. If not, you have to start us off with your characters doing something. Usually acting out a prologue or something. I am sure more characters will come soon.
I will join as soon as my character is approved. *Cough* DD Batch *Cough*
The Thought Fox - May 18, 2004 08:31 AM (GMT)
You've been approved. I can't wait for this to start!
DragonLady4 - May 18, 2004 12:11 PM (GMT)
"Jeez, I can't believe you've got us lost again!" said Daia as she pushed herself through a particularly prickly bush. Taeron touched a branch and the plant parted to let her through.
"I told you, we're not lost!"
"Then why won't you tell me where we're going?" She glared at him. "I'm not moving until you tell me, you faction freak."
"Just trust me."
"Oh yeah, right, sure. Trust you. Remember last time I had to trust you?"
"Daia..."
"We ended up almost hurtling down a cliff face, you moron!"
"We're nearly there." He led her through some more forest, the plants parting in front of him, and now whipping back to poke her in the eyes. Grumbling, she pushed her way through the foliage and followed the GoldenDragon Si'nale into a clearing. There was a circle of stones there, worn from the weather. She could make out some bumps on their surfaces where words from the old language had been carved.
"Taeron...?"
"Yes?" she turned and say him placing a gemstone onto the plinth in the centre of the circle. It was a dark, blood red with golden lines playing through it like cracks in marble.
"You stole a spellstone from your parents???"
"Borrowed."
"Why do we need a spellstone, faction boy?"
"You'll see."
He stepped out of the circle, pulling her with him, and then reached out and touched a stone from the edge, letting a small amount of him magic trickle into it. It passed from stone to stone until the whole circle was joined by a thread of magic.
Then it reached the spellstone. Brilliant white light suddenly shone out from the centre of the stone circle, forming a portal. To another world. Daia tugged Taerons sleeve, now worried.
"Er...Taeron....someones coming out of there..."
Lugana - May 18, 2004 07:29 PM (GMT)
Ooc: the beginning of this will not make much sense to most of you, unless you read the RPG I posted in the Authors United section. Batch may understand a little, but from what I remember, he was not in the second RPG.
IC:
“I can’t believe this… he’s… he’s dead.” Lugana stood. Standing over the dead body, he glared at Rohan.
Lugana’s sword sang from his scabbard. “How? How did you manage to kill my father… how did you kill Zell McCloud?”
Lugana saw a smiled form on Rohan’s face. Rohan’s demonic began to grow before his very eyes.
“It was simple. I just lifted my hand and blasted him to hell. Zell’s time as a hero has past. He became soft after he married that damn woman. Speaking of the woman, where is she?”
“You think I’m going to tell you? You may have killed my father… but your not going to get passed me.” Lugana sank into his fighting stance. “I may not have killed a sage like my parents have, nor have I been blessed with a guardian, but I will defeat you. I swear it.”
Rohan’s smile seemed to double in size. “Let’s see what the son of Zell can do.” Extending his hand, Rohan began to create a ball of demonic energy.
Lugana, preparing to bat the ball away with the flat side of his sword, suddenly lost his ground. He began to fall. Everything around him vanished and was replaced with twilight colors. He began kicking his feet out, trying desperately to find a place stand, but his attempts were fruitless.
Confused and scared, he began talking to himself. “Did he kill me? I didn’t see him attack. What’s happening to me?”
Looking in the direction he traveling, he saw a bright white light. As the light neared, Lugana’s stomach began to turn. He was getting a strange feeling of falling horizontally.
Finally, he passed through the light, and found himself lying face down in grass. He was scared to move.
“Where did this grass come from? Wasn’t I in the desert? What just happened?” Lugana heard movement above him.
Holding he sword tight, he quickly pushed himself up on to his feet. A young man with a young woman at his side was standing a few feet away from Lugana.
Lugana, confused and frightened as ever, didn’t know what to say. After a long silence, he brought himself to say something. “Er, hello?”
Ooc: Oh, and if you guys are wondering, he looks like my avatar. Slap on a black sleeveless shirt and green combat pants and you have him.
DragonLady4 - May 19, 2004 09:48 AM (GMT)
Daia froze. She didn't even hit Taeron around the back of his head like she normally did when he was abominably stupid. "What...have...you done now???"
She looked at Taeron. He was staring at the man who had come though the portal. He obviously hadn't expected it to work. Well, his magic hadn't even settled yet. She sighed. She would have to take charge of the situation. Again. Just like that time he was hanging out a tree kicking SilverBlade soldiers. Idiot.
She stepped forward, and willed her magic to translate her words so that the otherworldly man could understand her. "Er...hi. I'm Daia, and this is the moron who pulled you into our world, Taeron." She stuck out a hand. "So...um...how are you feeling?"
Lugana - May 19, 2004 05:24 PM (GMT)
“Other world? What are you babbling on about? Where is Rohan?” Lugana panicked. Realizing she didn’t have an answer from the expression on her face, Lugana sat in the grass to calm himself down.
Holding his face in his hands, he thought deeply, “Another world…? I must be dreaming. Ouch!” Lugana pinch himself. “Nope, plenty awake. What am I going to do? What can I do but go along with it for now?”
Lugana looked up at the young woman and made eye contact for the first time. “So, this is another world? Where is this exactly? What is it like here?”
DragonLady4 - May 20, 2004 09:47 AM (GMT)
Daia poked Taeron, who winced. It was more like she was trying to push her finger through his spine. He supposed that it mean that it was his job to explain.
"This is Leika, a world where...um...people have magic. Do they have magic in your world?" Not waiting for an answer, he carried on. "We have factions here, there's GoldenDragon, which is the best..." another poke..."I mean...my faction, and there's the evil..." poke, "I mean, the SilverBlades, and the Crimsontides. They're the main three factions. Any questions so far?"
Lugana - May 21, 2004 12:57 AM (GMT)
Lugana scratched his head taking in the information. “Er, what are the importance of the factions? If it makes it easier to explain, there is magic in my world.”
The Thought Fox - May 24, 2004 02:10 PM (GMT)
He sensed it immediately. The coming together of two worlds, but only for a second, like a momentary shudder in your spine and then you don't know what caused it. This sensation was both familiar and foreign to him. Familiar in that he knew what it was; foreign in that it rarely happened. If it occurred twice in a milennia, it was too often.
So naturally, he'd gone to investigate. It had taken him quite a while to establish which worlds had come together; after all, there were so many of them. When he'd found out which ones had merged, he investigated each one. In the first one, nothing had happened, but there was one individual he couldn't find. It was therefore safe to conclude that this individual had passed into the other world.
Why had they done that? Had it been an accident? A dimensional collision between realities that had hurled this man into another world? Had it been intentional? Had this man created a way of passing through worlds, with the intent of conquering those he came across? He thought that unlikely - one man could not conquer a world, and the only way to another reality was his own method.
And so it was with curiosity that Gatekeeper emerged in Leika, seeking out this missing individual.
He found him talking to two inhabitants of Leika. From the what he picked up from the conversation, this had been an accident and 'Lugana', the name of the individual, seemed fairly confused about where he was.
Gatekeeper smiled. That was his job over and done with; he knew what and how had occurred. Now he decided to remain nearby, invisible, to see what would happen. Perhaps fate had drawn this man to Leika...
DragonLady4 - May 25, 2004 11:57 AM (GMT)
Daia rolled her eyes. If Taeron said that the factions were great and very important, she would hit him. Hard.
"Well," he said to Lugana, "The factions play an important part in Leika. It would be a weak world without them."
She hit him.
Hard.
While Taeron was nursing his head, Daia took over the explanation. "The factions are power hungry families with lots of lackeys who fight each other continuously. Taeron is a Si'nale of a faction - a faction leaders son. And he's also very stupid as he used this portal that you came through with only me here to supervise." She rounded on the Si'nale. "You are SO stupid sometimes! You're lucky that what came through the portal was human and confused! What if he was in the middle of something important? How are you going to explain this to your parents?"
She turned back to Lugana. "Sorry about that. Any other questions?"
Lugana - May 25, 2004 01:46 PM (GMT)
“Awww…” Lugana coughed, “are there monsters here? What type of magic is used here? And is there a way for me to get the hell out of here?”
DragonLady4 - May 25, 2004 02:28 PM (GMT)
"Monsters? Um...I suppose to other worlds that the dragons are monsters. But they're alright really. As long as you're not in a faction and they're on the other side." She shot a look at Taeron.
"When we first met we got chased by a dragon," he explained to Lugana. "But it was okay, my brother was there to help us."
Daia leant back on a tree. "Oh yeah, and the way to get you back? Idiot-boy here got you through by luck and stupidity. We'd have to get some more explerienced people in to get you back."
"Unless he's here for a reason," said a voice in the trees. A young man of about 19 years stepped through the foliage. Taeron's brother, Rhaedor. Same bright blue eyes. Same black hair, only with blue instead of gold streaked through it. He sighed. "What have you done now, little brother?"
ooc: Rhaedor always says this, btw.
Lugana - May 26, 2004 12:04 AM (GMT)
Lugana stood as he heard the man’s voice, and went for his sword when he appeared. Realizing that they seem to know each other, he relaxed.
“I’m getting kind of edgy. I need to clam down. I don’t to make a foolish move.” Then Lugana finally absorbed want had been said.
“Brought her for a reason? I know why I was brought here. She says it’s because of her stupid friend here!” Lugana placed his hand to his forehead, trying to clam himself down. “What am I suppose to do? I need to get home.”
The Thought Fox - May 26, 2004 08:54 AM (GMT)
Gatekeeper could contain his curiosity no longer. He changed, slowly, into a 18-year-old boy, dressed in exactly the same clothes as Rhaedor. He descended into the trees behind Rhaedor and walked calmly out.
They stared at him in surprise, mainly because they didn't recognise him, but he didn't wait for them to begin asking him questions.
"Rhaedor may well be right," he said, "You may have been brought to this world for a reason, and if that is the case, then I cannot let you leave here until destiny has been fulfilled. The crossing of a normal indvidual into another world is a rare occurrence but it has happened before, and back then, the very stability of existence was in danger. The individual helped overcome it."
He looked around for a moment, letting his words sink in. This world, he admitted, was one of the most beautiful.
DragonLady4 - May 26, 2004 11:25 AM (GMT)
"Er....who are you?" Daia said, staring at the strange newcomer. She sat down heavily in the grass next to Lugana. "Knowing Taeron, I've seen some pretty weird things but this one tops them all!"
The Thought Fox - May 26, 2004 09:04 PM (GMT)
OOC: okay, orange isn't a very sensible colour!
"Who I am is of little importance," he answered cryptically, turning on the girl, "I am merely a being unlike anything you've met before, but I do not have evil intent.
"What I can do," he continued, now turning on Lugana, "is very important. I have the power to get you home. I do not need anything to open a portal; I travel between worlds as casually as you walk into another room."
He saw the glint of hope in Lugana's eyes.
"I may have the power to return you to your world, but I do not have the authority. Instead, I have a responsibility. I must not interfere with Existence, for Existence has its own designs. I am merely an agent to maintain the stability of Existence. If you have truly been brought here for a reason, then I am duty-bound to make sure that this reason is fulfilled. Until I am satisfied that this was an accident, or that you have fulfilled your destiny, I'm afraid I cannot return you home."
Lugana - May 26, 2004 11:33 PM (GMT)
Lugana clenched his fist. “You won’t send me back until my destiny is fulfilled? I have a battle in my own world to fight! My destiny is there! If there is some evil here, fine….” Lugana’s voice dropped as lowered his head. “If that what I have to do to get back, show me where it is….”
The Thought Fox - May 27, 2004 08:07 AM (GMT)
"Unfortunately, I don't know what is to happen here. If I did, I certainly wouldn't be standing here with you doing nothing. However, when we find what it is, I shall be the first to recognise it. I shall be with you, as an observer."
He paused.
"I apologise for not sending you home, but if i were to do so, a delicate balance could be upset. It is my destiny, my responsibility and my life to maintain that balance."
He turned to the others.
"I won't be far away."
With that, he turned himself invisible, and rose above them, waiting to see what they would do.
Lugana - May 27, 2004 01:45 PM (GMT)
Lugana blinked, realizing he disappeared. Lugana straightened his sword and he turned to the girl. “Er, hey. Can you do me a favor? I don’t know this land to well, as you can see, and I would really appreciate it if you would show me around a little bit. If you don’t have the time, will at least point me out to the next village?”
DragonsDomain - May 27, 2004 01:52 PM (GMT)
In the distance Prince GreyScar stared at the group with interest as the events unfolded. He was no stranger to foreign races, as he had traversed many worlds in the Blood's hunt for conquest. But there was something different about the one who called himself Gatekeeper. GreyScar decided he wanted to find out more, and approached them. Seeing the GoldenDragon scum draw their weapons he laughed and held out his hands in a gesture of peace. He knew his reputation would calm the situation, and as he didn't know of these people, and therefore there could be no way they were mighty warriors.
No way at all...
Lugana - May 28, 2004 01:22 AM (GMT)
Lugana, with his sword still half-drawn, stared at the odd looking man. “Who the are you? Are you another one of their friends?”
DragonsDomain - May 28, 2004 07:35 AM (GMT)
Prince GreyScar looked upon them with contempt, and said "Friends of these Golden scum, I doubt very much. Mortal enemies more like. Still, there is no battlefield here, and no mighty armies to wage war. I am merely here to ensure...you're no danger to Leika, stranger. From whence did thou come, one who refers to himself as 'Laguna'?"
DragonLady4 - May 28, 2004 02:19 PM (GMT)
Daia noticed Taeron about to spit on Greyscar and pinched him, hard, to make sure he didn't get himself killed. He had that look in his eyes that appeared when one of GoldenDragon's enemies was nearby. First time she had met him, he had jumped on the SilverBlade Si'nale Drantai's back because he was a threat to Rhaedor. Now he was older he was bolder, and liable to sign his own death sentence in spit over one of his enemies.
Lugana - May 29, 2004 12:00 AM (GMT)
Lugana could not feel any demonic power radiating from this man. He knew that he was not evil, but powerful nonetheless. “I not from here if that’s what you mean. I come from the world known as Hyrule. I am the son of Zell McCloud, the only one in history to kill a sage. I am a master swordsmen and energy user. I have not come here of my free will and wish to get back to my world as soon as possible. The Gatekeeper said he was not going to send me back until he is convinced it was accidental… or until I fulfill some sort of destiny. ”
Lugana tightened his grip on his sword. “He looks dangerous. I wouldn’t blame him for attack me. I did come from another world after all and could be a possible evil. I just hope he is not headstrong that way.”
DragonLady4 - May 29, 2004 07:20 PM (GMT)
Daia suddenly had a thought, "hey, this energy you use, can it work here? Is there any way that you could use it as a translator from Leikan to...Hyrulan?"
"If you can't," Rhaedor added, "Taeron will have to hand over that spellstone in his pocket that he's hiding from me so that you can understand us all."
ooc: Should I submit Rhaedor as one of my characters?
Lugana - May 29, 2004 09:51 PM (GMT)
“Well, I can use it anywhere, I guess, but no, I can't use it for a translator. Here, let me explain it."
Lugana took a deep breath. "It all a matter of the Will and the Word. I will energy from around me into my left hand. The energy, or sprit power you could say, travels from my left hand and circulates in my heart. When I collect all of what my heart can hold, it shoots through my right hand into my blade. That's what we like to call ‘charging a sword’.
“ I can repeat the step if I need more power, but it dangerous to do so. After doing once, it zaps my physical energy.
“ I can break my will by saying a word. When my will is broken, the energy is released from the sword and flies in the direction I swing it. We call it the energy wave because it looks kind of like a wave in the ocean as it rips on the surface of the ground and expands towards the opponent.
“When it hits, the opponent is ether burned greatly or turned to ashes. It then travels on until it decimates. The time is takes to decimate it determined by the power of the energy user and the amount of energy collected.
“There are a few thing I have to watch out for when I use it. One, it makes the people around me weaker, because I am drawing energy from them as well. Once the wave decimates, the energy will return.
“Two, I cannot draw upon demonic energy. If I do, it could malice my heart and change my mind. Meaning I could become evil.
“Three, if I collect to much energy in my heart or sword at one time, it could kill me. I don’t like to use this attack often for those reasons, and when I do, I like to keep it small.
“My father was one of the founders of this attack and became very go with it. It was said he once engulfed an entire mountain with his. My mother said it filled the sky and made world shake beneath her.
“Me, on the other hand, have not created one any bigger then that tree over there.” Lugana pointed at a small oak.
Ooc: Yes you should. It sounds like he is a little more then a walk-on character.
DragonLady4 - May 30, 2004 07:00 PM (GMT)
ooc: i'll submit him when I have time, is that okey? And the Will and the Word is in David Eddings, is it not? Where's demon when i need him, honestly!
bic:
Taeron sighed, dug his hand into his pocket and handed over the spellstone. Raw magic crackled over the surface, and Rhaedor tapped it against one of the rocks to discharge it. Daia noticed that there was a small hole drilled through the stone, with a leather cord running through it. Rhaedor gave it to Lugana.
"As long as the stone touches your skin, it will automatically use the magic it absorbs from the environment to translate our language - and any other language - into yours for you." He paused. "There is also a chance...you may gain a magical power like a native Leikan. it happens to some people, but not always to others."
He glanced at Greyscar, who, being part of a faction like himself, was almost automatically watching the spellstone. That was one of the things that the factions fought over, one of the keys to power."
"Don't even think about taking it, Greyscar," he said the the Crimsontide Si'nale. "You may have a reputation to keep but this man is a visitor to our world. I suggest that we have an agreement not to touch that spellstone. Just. In. Case."
Lugana - May 30, 2004 10:04 PM (GMT)
Ooc: Yes, it was Eddings that made up that Will and the Word system. I just barrowed that idea for this attack.
IC:
Lugana blinked. “Thank you. This will come in handy later. I am going to have to make it into necklace once I find the time.” Lugana loosened his grip on his sword. He doubted that this newcomer was going to attack after that tremendous speech he just gave.
DragonsDomain - June 4, 2004 06:22 PM (GMT)
GreyScar looked at Taeron with a mixture of pity, contempt, and humour.
"I had no inclination to take a Stone from a stranger. How polite would that be to a guest of Leika?"
He caught the calculating look in Laguna's eye, and assured him "I am not here for a fight, for once, I am merely ensuring that this realm isn't in danger by an off-worlder. Still, if what you say is true, I welcome you to our humble planet and would like to help show you around...merely to keep the vagabonds off of your back, of course."
ooc: Here are some twists to the plot I'd like you all to consider:-
Laguna, perhaps somewhen throughout this you draw upon all of our energies, but one of us turns out to be evil, and that person flees. Because you're then turned evil, you could make a descision as to whether you'd like to remain evil or have the strength to fight it, and then help us to dispose of the evil char who could be the "big boss"???
Just a idea anyway :P
Also, I'd like people to start thinking of ulterior motives as to why they'd help Laguna leave Leika, if indeed they do help. B)
DragonLady4 - June 4, 2004 08:43 PM (GMT)
Taeron sulked at GreyScar's derisive tone. He was still a child deep down. Rhaedor, however, took the helm for the GoldenDragons and offered his hand to GreyScar.
"I know that we may be enemies by blood, but I am glad that we can all be mature..." his eyes flickered to Taeron for a moment, "And honourable, when the circumstances demand it. Will you be staying with us, GreyScar? I need to escort Lugana to Zydrone (the GD capital) so that Taeron can understand just what he's done by bringing him here, and so that we can take on the responsibility. I could send Nyshida on ahead to tell my parents that you're coming, if you wish to keep an eye on us GoldenDragon pups." Daia noticed the slight mocking tone in his voice, but it was a gentle one. He was just stating a fact: most of the clans with older sons looked upon the younger GoldenDragons with slight disdane.
GreyScar looked at Rhaedor's outstretched hand. The young Si'nale didn't expect him to decide right away. It was a big decision anyway, whether to go with people who were supposed to be your enemies to keep an eye on things or to keep with tradition and refuse.
Suddenly there was a rumbling noise behind them, Rhaedor spun round to see Daia and Taeron looking a bit too innocent. "We were only messing around a bit" Daia said uncomfortably, "and then we shot the portal with magic..."
Rhaedor and GreyScar moved at almost the same moment, the former grabbing the two troublemakers and the latter acting to keep the newcomer Lugana in this world unharmed. Afterwards, if they were asked, they would both say that they never shared the same thought, and then glare at each other for saying the same thing.
The portal, still soaked in residual magic from Lugana's entrance, pulsed with energy. Another person emerged from the portal...
ooc:This is Batch's cue.
The Thought Fox - June 10, 2004 04:49 PM (GMT)
He'd been happily sneaking along a corridor in the Western Cresote Bank. There was the door to the vault, just ahead. There was the expensive but efficient skeleton key, in his hand.
He crept forward...and was suddenly blinded by a flash of light. He closed his eyes, but when he opened them, all he could see was white. Was he blind? He stumbled forward, only to fear a cold wind rush over him.
Suddenly, everything became warm, like a summer's day, and his vision began to return. Gone was the dark blurs of the bank, now a light-coloured and predominantly green blur. There were other colours, too, but these started to take the shapes of people.
Disoriented, he reached for his sword, but only ended up throwing it on the ground. He staggered backwards in a defensive stance and watched as the woodlands of Leika materialised around him.
"What the hell?" he muttered, "Where am i? Who are you people?"
He lurched forward, picked up his sword and stepped backwards, his sword held up in a defensive position.
Lugana - June 10, 2004 05:05 PM (GMT)
Lugana was about to draw his sword, but then he realized that this man was no different then him. He might be evil, but he could deal with him later if that was the case. “Welcome, my momentarily confused friend. This is Leika. From what I have been tolled, you call this place the Land of the Dragons. You won’t understand a word of this until you have a chance to cope with it. Until then, why don’t you tell us what your name is.”
The Thought Fox - June 14, 2004 11:49 AM (GMT)
"My name is Jolku," the thief said, his hand not moving from his sword, although his stance became a bit more relaxed.
"I am thief from Cresote, the capital city of Elil. Does anybody know that place?"
The quicker he worked out how far from home he was, the quicker he could get back there.
DragonLady4 - June 14, 2004 12:43 PM (GMT)
"uh...." Daia and Taeron looked up, as if to relocate the halos that wou7ld have appeared if they were in an earth cartoon.
"Its on another world, that much I do know," said Rhaedor. "Come with us, I'll find it on a map in Zydrone. We'll explain things to you now, if you'd like."
DragonsDomain - June 14, 2004 01:14 PM (GMT)
Greyscar looked at the mishievous youngsters and decided he'd better accompany them all to Zydrone, if only to prevent them doing any other silly things.
"Yes, I will be joining you to the city", he confirmed. "Lead on, Rhaedor."
DragonLady4 - June 14, 2004 01:24 PM (GMT)
Rhaedor whistled and Nyshida, his dragon, flew through the trees and landed on his shoulder, her scales changing to a deep green colour. He pulled out some paper from his bag, and, channeling his dala (magic, remember?) into his finger he burnt the message into the paper. Ink was a bit messy to carry around. He gave the message to Nyshaida, which she held in her forepaws (or claws) and winged off through the trees, changing to a brown colour as she disappeared into the forest.
"Well," said Rhaedor. "We'd better get going, then. Jolku, I'm sortry we're running off so quickly, but Daia, Taeron and Lugana will have time to expalin things to you, I hope."
Lugana - June 14, 2004 05:17 PM (GMT)
Lugana was a little taken aback by the sudden appearance of the Dragon, but he managed to stop himself from drawing his sword.
He took a long look at the one called himself Jolku. He seemed real honest for stating hid occupation like that and quickly answering the question. He should be real confused, just like Lugana is right now. Somehow, Lugana knew they would get along.
He approached Jolku and touched he sword arm. “There will be none of that my friend. I come from another world too. I’ve been here for ten minuets and have meet many interesting being. I think we can trust this group of people for the most part. As long as you and me stick together, I sure we will make it back home. Let’s go. They are waiting.”
DragonsDomain - June 15, 2004 07:56 AM (GMT)
"Good, so we're ready to get going then?" GreyScar prompted Rhaedor to lead the way. "Lead on, Guide."
DragonLady4 - June 15, 2004 12:03 PM (GMT)
"Right." Rhaedor looked around the forest, and then without turning to face Taeron, said, "leave the forest alone, little brother."
"I don't know what you mean." Taeron said a little too innocently.
"Put the branches back. Now." Tree branches whipped back into place, revealing the route by which the GoldenDragon Si'nale's and Daia has all come. "Now, come up in front where I can see you." Taeron sighed and trudged to where Rhaedor was standing.
"Okay, fine, you caught me. I suppose you want me to make our way to Zydrone a little easier, then?" Rhaedor smiled at him.
"You got it. We'll make our way there on foot until Nyshida returns. We might just all fit on her back, as long as we all hold on really tight. So. Lead the way, little brother."
"I wish you wouldn't keep calling me that," Taeron muttered as he started off into the woods. Daia let slip a little snigger, then got poked in the face by a branch. She pulled an oh-dear-how-immature face and then followed Taeron into the forest, the others following.
