Well, this year due to my change of marital status and no impending babies due (that I know of ;) ), I can travel down to Sydney to play in Australia's largest Warhammer touney...Dogcon 07
It's a 2250pt, 3 day event in Sydney, so for us in Queensland it's a bit of a hike down (about 1,000km's), though RD will boast about how far he will be travelling I'm sure! (though there is one guy who is coming down from Darwin, which I guess is well over 3,000km's worth of driving!s)
We play three games a day on day 1&2, then 2 on the final day. The venue is a licensed club (oh dear!) and there is a poker tournament on after the days gaming (double oh dear).
Should be fun. I'm taking down a peasant heavy Bretonnian army, with only two units of knights!!! But surprisingly enough it has fared very well in play testing, losing 2, drawing twice and winning twice out of 6 games.
So...I'll post up some piccies from the tourney...should be fun especially with a road trip in a minibus with 6 of us...most of us plagued with flatulence of one form or another!!

Eight 2250 point games in three days seem like a lot to me, do you know what the time limit for each game is – it should be at least three hours.
Don’t forget a water bottle.

Yes, I am boasting about how far I have to travel. It will take me 8 hours to get to Brisbane, followed by 12+ to Sydney.

I hope to get to gronks before the Thursday to give him a damn good thrashing. We may even play Warhammer if we are not too tired :D
Not gonna happen my cheesy wood elf friend. I have to work before the event, finish work just before midnight the night before we leave.
So stuff all sleep before the big 12 hour drive!
