Anyone here Gotrek and Felix fans? Just thought I'd mention, for the benefit of anyone who is, that there's a new series of books coming out of the Black Library about them.

i love gortrex and felix books i know they are bringing out a new book ork slayer and are redoing some of the compendeums too.

have you seen the mdels that they hae dune for them very nice but just too much money.

I haven't read them so I can't comment but their author William King also writes the Space Wolves novels and those are fantastic. Unfortunately the new series of Gotrek and Felix won't be by him which leads me to ask, has he stopped writing for Black Libary or just the Gotrek and Felix novels?

realy has he stopped writting the books if thats sow iam mucho pissed off :angry:

I know he's stopped writing the Gotrek and Felix books (there was an article in last months WD about it if I remember correctly), i'll see if I can find out if he's stopped writing all together. If he has, that would annoy me greatly, he's a really good author.

write up there with dan abnett that man is a legend have you read the horus herasy books yet if not you realy should they are very good and quite fluffy correct.

Am I a fan :blink: :blink: check out the avatar,I just LOVE the whole" redeming honour thing, and Grumbarth IS a trollslayer so when the books first came out (Gheminshnect anybody?) I devoured them I especially love the description of Gotrek in wolfriders as he enters the tavern and stops the fight that Felix had gotten himself into " we dont want no truck with a trollslayer ".

It would be a real shame if he has stopped writing them, and if he has ,the new writer had better do them justice!!! :angry:

I don't know what William King is up to now. Apparently he took time out to write his own stuff, but I don't think it's been published yet.

The new author is Nathan Long, who did the Black Hearts trilogy. The first new book (Orcslayer) is out in October, but I don't know anything about the ones after that.
