Title: Medusa V Pics
Description: I have a new digi cam!
Lord Dante - July 11, 2006 02:23 PM (GMT)
I received a digital camera as an early birthday present from my dad which was great, and seeing as I have my friends up from london at my place in lincoln the five of us (myself, my girlfriend, my flatmate and my two friends from london) are all playing games and taking part in the campaign....which is a great opportunity for taking lots of pics. I'll post 'em up one at at time as some need photo editing as I'm getting used to the camera :)
Anyhoo, first one up is my Terminator Chaplain for my ultramarines army
Cheers,
Ken

Next pic, a shot from the game we had where the Ultramarines were performing an assassination attempt on the unlife of the necron lord in Sybilla Tertius. Unfortunately the ultramarines army was unable to keep redeoplying quickly enough to keep up with the Necron lord whose veil of darkness kept him away from the Emperor's finest. My only loss in battle so far!

Cool looks fun, nicely painted minis.
Necrons excell at doing that.

Cheers for the comments guys :)
I'm gonna be taking more pics of my ultramarines today actually so hopefully i'll get to put them up tonight :)
At the moment here's just a quick one that I edited using a fire effect, still needs a bit more work but I think it looks snazzy enough :)
Cheers,
Ken
P.S. @cranvill, i'm still here buddy :D, i've been a bit quiet recently as i've been starting my research for my dissertation projetc for my uni degree and have been busy with moving house, however I've found a reliable net connection so i'll be on AP a lot more, hopefully introducing some new people soon too. Good luck with your massive game, really looking foward to seeing some pics mate!

You so need a photobucket account so you can show more pics in one post :D
The Love Duck - July 14, 2006 06:44 PM (GMT)
Nice minis....
i hope to do stuff, i want to take my alpha legion for it (the idea of infiltrating the entire lot, and perhaps taking a preliminary bombardment too just appeals)
but then again, a carnifex wave, busting throght all the buildings could be fun too!
but its all dependant on the move going okay, and the new test at work being less stressy.

Keep up the good work. Pretty soon, I'm gonna have to dust of my Space Wolves, and finish painting them...

I'll be putting up some new stuff very soon, had to take a quick break from taking photos as I've been very busy with real life as i'm moving out of student accomodation and moving into a house with my girlfriend and flatmate in the next few weeks.

Nice job, very very sweet indeed :) (I did wonder if anyone did collect the Red scorpoins). Just saw your misty terminator with the assault cannon as well, very well done :)

Hehe you have no idea how many people say that very thing to me
I have to admit, when I first started playing 40k (9 years ago! ) I would never ever have dreamed of collecting an Ultramarines army and would have laughed at anyone who told me others (I was a proud Blood Angels player back then before I started my Iron Warriors).
However, the change of colour scheme from the Crayola TM colours they had before to something more dark and gothic to co-inside with the revamped space marine imagery appealed to me although it was the new Marneus Calgar that convinced me to start the army.

i must admit that they have got some very nice new models i love the magnus calgar model and the axes of ultramar and the nid hunters.they are very sweet.
but i just dont like theame of the army.
