Bloody hell mate, cool paint job, nice big swarm.

me likey.

cranvill - July 3, 2006 10:29 PM (GMT)
the swarm is just over 1500 pts as well iv gone for lots of cheap units am thnking of getting some gargoils not very nice model but i imagine that they will be fun and quite handy have you or any one else used them.

Griss VigaSkald - July 4, 2006 08:11 AM (GMT)
Dang, that's a lot of 'nids... :ph43r:

Great job on the painting. The Carnifex in particular is striking, at least to my eye.

The Love Duck - July 4, 2006 05:46 PM (GMT)
I have 8, i dont ever use them, they are still in bits!

I dont really rate them that much, if you want something with wings get a HT and put dragon wings on him. then he can be really nasty.

cranvill - July 4, 2006 06:33 PM (GMT)
yer thats what i was planing t do with him in the first place but coudnt get hold of any in time for a game sow did it with out ,but il def be doing one with wings.

what do you reckon of the new sliceing and diceing thingy from forge world.looks very tasty but a bit pricey.

and by the way were are the new rules for the death leaper.

Tor_Libram - July 5, 2006 02:18 PM (GMT)
Death leapers are in Imperial Armour: The Anphelion Project (or some similar title). I think they might also be in the Medusa V campaign pack rules, but these would be unofficial. Cheaper to obtain, but unofficial.

Plus, this puts my Nid army to shame. It really does. There's no way I'm going to be able to match that.

Sergeant Arkhon - July 5, 2006 04:55 PM (GMT)
One word: Wow.

Frans - July 6, 2006 10:35 AM (GMT)
4 words: they are not based ;)

The Love Duck - July 6, 2006 07:48 PM (GMT)
There are also rules somewhere on the GW site for a death leaper, but these rules are old and frankly Cr*p.

if anyone knows what the guy does in the forge world rules, would they let me know?

Cranny, do you mean the giant ravener with lots of scything talons?

Eggbert - July 6, 2006 09:19 PM (GMT)
That is one of the best paint jobs I've seen for Nids. My nids are being relegated to the back of my cabinet, out of sight, in shame for their crappy paint job.

Yeah, but the spotlight should be ons the mini, and not the base. Besides, imagion what it'll look like based...

cranvill - July 7, 2006 05:12 PM (GMT)

Lord Dante - July 11, 2006 02:09 PM (GMT)
Wow cranvill i'm really impressed, not just with the painting but with the modelling :) A great army!

SuperIdolMistyMay - July 25, 2006 03:13 AM (GMT)
The purple looks really cool.

cranvill - July 25, 2006 09:54 PM (GMT)
thanks mate iv just got two zonathropes as well and need to finish the off.too many models to paint

Frans - July 27, 2006 02:58 PM (GMT)
Also I'd go for some purple ink glazes over the carapace to make it all blend in and more organic
