hi guys i got my copy of the book for my birthday and have slowley been reading through it. the rules seam very strait forward and not at all too complecated like the old book .i still havent played it yet but will do soon.
i also love the new buildings they have made for it they rock ass big time.
what do you guys think of it have any of you played the game yet

Not played it, but I'm reasonably sure the scenery is Inquisitor scale. :lol:

I like the book, though it does favour some armies over others, and some of the stratagems are way more powerful than others.
i like the buildings, i think they are very overpriced, and i prefer the ones they have scratch built in the book, but i do agree that they are nice.

iv just relised what you ment tor they are quite big and yes i agree that they are quite over priced but they are sweet and you have sow much scope to build uver stuff i have some very good ideas for some very bbig projects with them ut gotta get dune the exsese that have lyeing around the grage .am painting the manafactorium at the mo il post pics when am dune
but yer matt the ones in book that are hand made are sweet but back to the rules i can see what you are sayng i carnt wait to play my nids in this with all those invul saves.

Yup the buildings are amazing, my girlfriend and I liked them so much in fact that we bought the Imperial CIty (£100 box set) to add to our city board :)
They are pretty big and whilst they're not quite at Inquisitor size, they do work easily at that scale.
The rules are really great, although as we play the advanced rules (unofficial, available from warseer.com) the games are even better, though we have tweaked them to be more realistic (i.e. we have removed the shooting and moving through walls rules unless the ruin has been made dangerous).
Great fun, really enjoying the Medusa campaign so far :D
