Hi folks,

We had some awesome gaming last week, with 7 people playing and pretty much filling a conference room:

Table 1: 750pts Annihilation
- Necron vs Tau and Space Marines
- Nate and Alfred teamed up as Necrons to square off against Patrick and Matt's combined Tau and Space Marines force. Necrons advanced early into the alliance's territory, and achieved some early success with their melee forces, boosted by their Deceiver's dark powers. The tide slowly turned however, and the combined forces were eventually able to turn the automatons back and slowly pick apart their forces. Result: Space Marines/Tau victory.

Table 2: 750pts Broken Alliance
- Tyranid vs Space Marines vs Necron
- Leaders from Dusty's Tyranid, Joe's Space Marines, and Phil's Necron forces marched off to face each other in single combat---a questionable decision at best, and the supporting armies were in short order called in to support their commanders. Space Marines took ridiculous casualties from the raging Carnifex and Hive Tyrants, supported by Necron heavy weapons, marginalizing their army early in the game. The Imperials dealt with, the Necrons and Tyranids then slowly settled into a brutal game of attrition, whittling away each other's forces until neither could claim possession of the area. Result: Draw Tyranid/Necron; Space Marines loss.

Look forward to yet more awesomeness tonight right after the meeting! There should be one new player joining us. We'll play it by ear again, though it would be helpful if people with armies are again ready to break them into ~400 pt chunks so we can split them to team up or combine them as needed.
