Welcome Ryduin! For more information, just go to the general meeting on monday, held at 6:00 pm in usually either conference room A or B in the basement of the Creese student center. During the meeting, feel free to ask questions and everyone will set you up with what you want, be it either anime or gaming. And above all else, don't be afraid. Although we may seem scary and weird at first, you'll learn that we're just weird.

Heyas, I signed up but have been to busy to really act on it, but i never really got a chance this summer to actually figure out everything about the groups . I was wondering if and where exactly u guys may be holding the meeting on the 15th, as im going to be there and quite frankly iono what im going to do because my roomies wont be in yet, so if im not doing anything important I want to attened the meeting.

AGO doesn't hold meetings over break so I don't think anyone will be there, at least for a meeting. You'd be better off coming the 22nd of September, which is the first week of term. The location is in my other response above. Hope to see you there!

Hey I'm also a freshman looking for people to play magic with, it feels like its been so long since i have played. Is anyone planning on going to the shards prerelease this weekend? Maybe we could try some 2HG or something.

this is an anime and gaming organization, so the chances of actual noobs in the club are pretty low. But you can play against people of varying skill levels.

o_o umm I want to join this club sooo I registered here. I am a freshman so yea. I also play brawl but only in person. (I commute so i don't have a dorm unfortunately)

Sooo when is the next meeting?

argh. i wish i ad a wii. i've been dying to play some brawl for a while now. i am proud to say i've destroyed several small countries with my skills. (they weren't important countries.)


and imo items keep the gameplay from getting too monotonous. they add a random element to the gameplay. that's just me though.

How easy was it to borrow that projector for the screening? If it wasn't too much of a hassle, I was wondering if we could have a special non wednesday screening to show Elfen Lied. I'll supply the laptop and Dvds.

Anime Screenings are , apparently, Wednesday, 6:30. Creese Student Center Basement, some Conference room. I thought they moved back to Thursday, but it seems I was wrong. I dunno, I couldn't make it to the meeting on monday. Can someone confirm this? Nate?

Also, Dorken Lied, yes, you can personally borrow projectors. Go to MacAlister Hall, floor 4, room 4007 to IMS (Instructional Media Services). There you can check out projectors to borrow as a student. My brother borrowed one for the weekend once and we had a marathon screening at the apartment. It's free too, unless they've changed the policy in half a year.

Ok then. What would be a good evening for Elfen Lied? Saturday maybe?

i would say more than likely yes as long as you bring :D gamecube controllers :D and not :angry: wiimotes :angry:

The remote is fine. I mean, like, I'll usually take the Gamecube controller if there is one, but that's mainly because I think it's one of the most comfortable controllers ever made. In terms of taking the Gamecube controller because I think it makes me do better, no. There's nothing WRONG with the remote, I just prefer the feel of the Gamecube controller. Fuck all those whiners on Game forums that are like "HEH ITS NOT AS GOOD, UR NOT PRO". It's fine.

Eh, I have spare controllers i can bring. It'd be 1vs1 only anyways so.

I'll bring one wii remote + nunchuck (sp?).
