Title: Potential Spring Term RPGs
Description: Because Games are not life
Nanny Mage - March 25, 2008 01:07 PM (GMT)
So what are people going to run next term, how many players do you need, how many do you have, and what days are you willing to run your game?
Sicarius - March 25, 2008 04:01 PM (GMT)
I was trying to think up a campaign name, but instead, you get this.
Scion - Words Can't do it Justice
Confirmed Players:
Andrew
Jon
Dan
Jamie
Matt
Nate
Tenative Players:
Joe
Steve
Willing to have up to 7-8, as long as you, your character, and your story interest me. I am a harsh judge. I am also a candy cane.
Zeus wasn't the only unfaithful god on the block, his guys just got the most myth-time. Your character starts as the divine by-product of an immortal night of passion. Contrary to what feel-gooders will say, all children are not equal and special. But you are.
Pantheons allowed:
The Pesedjet - The timeless half-animal Egyptian gods of justice
The Dodekethon - The individualistic yet humanity-oriented gods of Olympus
The Aesir - The hard-living, hard-fighting Norse champions of personal honor
The Atzlanti - The blood sacrifice Aztec guardians of order and continuity
The Amatsukami - The nature-oriented butterfly-effect Japanese gods
The Loa - The voodoo gods of West Africa and the Caribbean, concerned with local wholeness.
Please note: Any player who makes a Scion of the Amatsukami that is either a stereotypical anime nerd or a simple anime stereotype will be forced to eat their own character sheet.
Character Concepts: I'm allowing a lot of freedom (but please see above). However, remember that you must at least somewhat match your patron deity, but I'm allowing a lot of freedom. Scions of Hephaetus don't have to be blacksmiths, you can be pharmaceutical engineers, blue-collar bridge builders, etc.
Be creative
Days: Tuesdays I have my senior class. There is no possibility of rescheduling, and I must take the class this term. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays are the days I'm willing to run it. I'd prefer not Mondays, but that's only because I want the week to come up with things.
Raion - March 27, 2008 07:03 PM (GMT)
Mage is continuing.
A team of supernaturally aware troubleshooters have been sent to deal with various problems for the government.
Meanwhile, the world seems to be getting stranger day by day. Is this merely a matter of increased awareness, or is there more to it?
There are openings for up to two more players, send concepts and (if you haven't played with me previously) something about your role playing experience. Please use PMs, or ask for email.
Current team:
Military trained life mage
Conspiracy theorist space mage
Drug-addled Rockstar mind mage
Tinker matter mage
Jack of all Trades

Shadowrun is continuing as well, though I need to find a time that suits all my players.
Balros - March 28, 2008 05:49 AM (GMT)
Tony over at Dragonslayers is running a new game. I'll post the info in the RPG section.
Nanny Mage - March 28, 2008 01:17 PM (GMT)
I'm still trying to decide if I'm running a Changeling or Werewolf game for half the term with the potential of going the whole term.
I need to see if I have time to sit down and go over the werewolf books this weekend, which seems likely though I promise nothings :)
Odds are it will be held Monday nights if I do hold it. :ph43r:

I would be up for changling.

When does 3.5 DnD meet? I've Dmed for years in my home town and I'd like a chance to play instead.
