I have just read an article in a magazine regarding additives in general diets, not just in the case of ADHD. One of the contributors was Patrick Holford, co-founder of the Institute for optimum nutrition. His advice is for us all to avoid E numbers except

E101 - Vitamin B2

E160 - Carotene

Anti-oxidants
E 300
E 301 - Vitamin C
E 302
E 304

Tocopherols
E 306
E 307 - ( like Vitamin E )
E 308
E 309

Emulsifier
E 322 - Lecithin

Stabilisers
E 375 - Niacin
E 440 - Pectin

If everything else should be avoided from an ordinary diet, what effect are these other additives having on our ADDers?
