Hello, I am new to this I am a single Mum and my son has recently been diagnosed with ADHD and Ticks Disorder, he also may be Dyslexic but this has yet to be investigated. The doctor who we are under at our local hospital has agreed with me that we do not want to go on medication at this early stage, I am going to a family therapist and I am looking into how I can change my son's diet. I would appreciate any information fellow parents may have on what foods make the condition worse etc. Also as the Doctor has said they will have to look at medication at some point in the future if things do not improve, I am really worried about exposing my son to medication with so many side effects, what medication should I be looking at having for my son and what should I avoid. Can anyone out there help, I really would like some support too, someone to chat to who is in similar situation to myself.
