Last year, at around this time, the three amigos (Louie, Dewie and Huey, aka Bix, Bordy and Soapy - or were they the three wise monkeys?! :dunno: ) were plotting and planning a meeting in Port Douglas, Queensland. That meeting was held in early August 2007 and was a roaring success ... in my view at least. :tongue:

I'd like to propose (what I suspect will be a roaring flop :blink: but has the potential to be as good as, if not better than, 2007 in PD) a meeting of DAF members in sunny Brisbane in October or maybe November 2008. I am willing and able to go to great lengths to ensure that everyone will have a top time. I have a place in mind for accommodation which is relatively cheap, yet modern, clean and has all facilities. It would also serve as a great venue for various get togethers culminating in an 'all-out DAF meeting'. :bar: :party: :drinkingmates:

Yeah we are due a holiday and QLD was one of our choices so I think my hubby could be persuaded to go in Oct/Nov for my birthday! :thumbsup:
