Title: The Best Games and/or Game Sites

ProofReader - November 11, 2007 04:05 AM (GMT)

Over the years I've come across some really good game sites. Not just the average for their genre, but beyond that ... 'special' comes to mind. I'll list a few of them here:
  • Amanita Design - this one is my favourite, I think. It has some excellent Flash games which will keep you and/or your kids entertained for hours! :thumbsup: Make sure you have your sound turned on. :yes:
  • iSketch - a bit like playing Pictionary - multiplayer game;
  • Quiddler - new word game daily;
  • Jigzone - daily jigsaw puzzle;
  • Edheads - educational activities, including Weather, Virtual Knee Surgery, Virtual Hip Surgery, Simple Machines, Odd Machines and more;
  • Internet Scrabble Club - says it all!
  • Haluz Games - similar to Amanita (see above) - very entertaining;
  • Trapped - Part 1 - The White Rabbit - an excellent 'escape the room' type of game, unfortunately not available for me to add to our games gallery, but well worth a couple of hours fun;
  • Wogger - similar to Amanita;
  • ESP Game - an interactive (anonymously) guessing game to help label web images (created by Carnegie Mellon University).
If anyone has any games/sites worthy of a 'special' mention, please PM me a link and I'll check 'em out and add them if they're really good.

NOTE: Posting this part done cos I don't want to lose what I've done; also I need time to check my humungous bookmark list and remember which are the best ones. :rolleyes: :grin:
