Finally we get some communication from immigration regarding our applicatoin

is it an acknowledgement saying "thank you very much for your $500"?

oh no, apparently we need to provide proof of identity :blink:

given that before we sat the test we had to sit with a woman for half an hour while she went through our documents: passport, birth certificate, marriage certificate, rates bill confirming our address and our AUSTRALIAN driving licence with photo id on it... oh then take our photo I am totally confused as to why they need more? :blink:

rang them this morning and all she did was read from her script "sometimes we need further proof"

Why havent we provided enough?

So bloody annoying as we only have 7 days to do it all, so now we have to find somewhere to have our photo taken (never seen a photo booth since I've been here so any ideas?) then ask the one and only person we know who qualifies on the list of acceptable people to sign the photo..... I guess we should count our blessings that my friend knows a copper otherwise we'd be buggered. :blink:
