it says in that article that you have to have lived in oz for 4 years, how did i manage to miss that change :blink:

I wouldn't stress about the test. It isn't difficult. I tried it and got them all right. Suppose I should have as I have lived here for 41 years!! :thumbsup:

I think that's only applicable for new guys coming over. We only have to wait two years before we can apply. Not sure OH will pass the test though :(

No. But I do know that we will have to get our application PDQ once we are eligible as once Alex reaches 16 next September, he'd have to apply himself!

It's worth noting that after the first week of citizenship testing, 1 in 5 test candidates failed their test. The official pass rate rate is 83%.

The government have admitted that not all of the questions had been finalised in time and that further test questions were planned. So it'll be interested to see if this affects the pass rate.

The full list of official questions is kept confidential. However if you're planning to take the test (or even if you're just curious) then you can practice answering sample questions based on the study materials here
