Hi everyone, and no, I'm not from Liverpool either :no:

I've lived in NSW, well Sydney mainly, for almost thirty years now, and love the life here, even moreso since I've finished work. :ecstatic:

We live just a stones throw from the beach now, and that's how I start everyday, just walking on the beach with my dog, and socialising with other dog owners, for an hour or more.

It's a great life, with lots of koalas, kangaroos and exotic bird life, plus the dolphins, and the whales visit twice a year too.

Glad to hear you still love the place. We are all a bit weird here in case you hadn't realised :whistle: Do we already know you from somewhere else or are you totally new?

We've been here 15 months now and I fall in love with the place (southern Gold Coast) more every day. Still not seen a wild dolphin though but we do have kangas and koalas in our garden as well as a myriad of beautiful birds.

Which beach, may I ask? I used to live up at the N Beaches where there are many pelicans, up at Narrabeen, just wondering if that's how you came by your name.

I live in Paradise, otherwise known as Port Macquarie now, and walk on Nobby's beach. It's got quite a few rocks on it, so deemed as unsafe for swimmers (they don't seem to take much notice though :no: ) and so the Council OK'd it as a leash free beach for dogs. They just love the rock pools at low tide.

The pelicans don't visit our beach, but they are all around the town green area, and at the fishermans wharf, especially when the local boats are landing their catches, and cleaning up. They get a good feed there.

My dog lives in hopes of catching one :lol:
