Well nothing happens for 10 months then in the same week we get the visas and an offer on the house! It was just ment to be !!! :thumbsup: But now reality slaps us in the face as the buyers want to be in before christmas. We want to come to Brisbane "ish" area I fancy the sunshine coast up arround caloundra but wander what the job prospects are like (i am an engineer working in the food industry). We want to rent somewhere in an area that will give us the ability to sus out suburbs and further a -field we have a lot to do now any help and advice greatly apreciated!!

Caloundra is a lovely spot and you should have no trouble renting something to suit your lifestyle there. Not sure about the jobs aspect, but I'd imagine you'd have a decent chance at something relatively local at least, with your profession. Have you looked on www.seek.com.au? Also, have a look on www.realestate.com.au for properties/rentals.

There's also lots of links, etc., in our information sections, lower down on the main page of these forums.

Where are you moving from? And what type of visa did you get?
