Title: Furniture for sale
Description: Time to empty my shed .......

DagBoy - November 9, 2006 10:15 PM (GMT)
We have a whole heap of furniture available from our rental property.

Below is a short list of some of the available things. If it is not on the list but would normally be in a house, we probably have it.

2 x Single beds slat base complete with mattress ‑ these are nice wooden & wrought iron bedframes with innerspring mattresses ‑ $200 each

2x Matching bedside tables to above ‑ wooden & wrought iron with one drawer on runners ‑ $50 each

1 x 3 seater sofa which drops down into a bed, black & navy blue with removable cover ‑ $220

Matching blue scandinavian type (blonde wood) Relaxa chairs $50 each

Lovely blue & cream patterned rug that goes really well with above sofa & chairs approx 6' x 8' ‑ $50

Coffee table & hall table that go with above lounge/family room furniture $70 each

Also end table (square) that matches $40

Pine double bed slat base & innerspring mattress $200

Wooden entertainment unit, approx 800mm wide & 600mm high with DVD/Video shelf and cupboards under ‑ $140

Matching coffee table and 2 lamp tables go nicely with entertainment unit ‑ $120 for all 3.

4 burner BBQ, half plate half grill with 9KG gas bottle (I think this has been used about twice) ‑ $120

Small microwave (not certain on the size - about 20 litres?) ‑ $60

Portacot blue, used twice, Mother's Choice ‑ $70

LG Intellowasher WD ‑ 8013C 7kg front loading washing machine 3.5 star energy & 5A water rating ‑ $500

That's probably enough for now, but we also have kitchen appliances like toasters and kettles (which still have stickers on them they have had so little use ), other kitchen stuff like plates, cutlery, glasses, pots and pans, bedding, framed prints for the walls (which suit the furniture mentioned), decorative items like vases, an iron and ironing board.

Also we can deliver any of the above larger items within a reasonable distance around Brisbane if you can't get it home.

PM or email me if you want more info.

Cheers,
DagBoy

Might be interested in the double bed - will ask K. The rug might come in handy too.

oh and some other stuff - K appears interested - blimey that's a first.

Just checked out the rug - looks promising. Is the double bed from the same house? questions questions questions :D

Is any of this still available, DagBoy?

I know someone who's after a desk or table for a computer (not necessarily an actual computer desk, IYKWIM). Got anything like that?

DagBoy - December 3, 2006 09:43 AM (GMT)
Lots of stuff is still available, but unfortunately no tables suitable for a computer. Most of the tables we have are either low coffee tables or lamp tables or bedside tables.

Cheers,

DagBoy

hey Dagboy, when you've emptied your shed can I rent it from you and come live in it? Looks like that's all I can probably stretch to at the mo

Well, it was a nice try, but my shed is no closer to being empty, so here is my latest attempt to make the same dull items sound interesting and desireable.

Single beds. slat base complete with mattress ‑ these are nice wooden & iron bedframes with innerspring mattresses. Happy to sell beds or mattresses separately or as an ensemble. The beds were from Super AMart and cost about $105 - will sell for $80, the mattresses were $175, will let them go for 130. I can do you a deal on the combination for $200. We have at least 4 of the beds - maybe 5 and I think 2 decent mattresses. Will give you a discount for bulk buys too :)

Matching bedside tables for the above ‑ wooden & wrought iron with one drawer on runners ‑ $50 each. I have 2 of these - maybe more.

Blue scandinavian type (blonde wood - think IKEA) Relaxa chairs $50 each

Lovely blue & cream patterned rug approx 6' x 8' ‑ $50

Coffee table & hall table that go with above lounge/family room furniture $70 each

Also end table (square) that matches $40

4 burner BBQ, half plate half grill with 9KG gas bottle (I think this has been used about twice) ‑ $120. I have a couple of these to get rid of.

Travel cot. Blue, used for about a fortnight. Mother's Choice ‑ $70. This is a really handy thing to have - well it is if you have small children and want to travel somewhere. Go on - make me an offer, you know you need this.

LG Intellowasher WD ‑ 8013C 7kg front loading washing machine 3.5 star energy & 5A water rating ‑ $500. Only about 15 months old - it has a 5 year warranty. In near perfect condition. Do your bit for the drought and get yourself a water efficient front loader.

There is loads more on offer in DagBoy's second hand furniture emporium - if there is something you want that a normal house would have had, we probably have 2 of them.

Also we can deliver any of the above larger items within a reasonable distance around Brisbane if you can't get it home.

Cheers,

DagBoy :)

Hiya mate!
Long time no speaky

I'll take two of the beds - mattresses and bedsteads - plus if you have sheets to go with it, that would be great.
Bedside tables and Ikea chairs, yep, we'll have them!

-------------------------------

If you have the stuff - I'd like bookcases, pref black wood, but anything will do, what have you got? Mattress for a double bed (not Queen, just Aussie double)? beer fridge? Tumbledryer ..... (pushing my luck now!). I'll pm you my number, give me a ring if you like!
Two drawbacks - I'll need the stuff delivered to Aspley, and I can't pay you for about a week, but then I can do cash or whatever. We'll talk, and I'll pay delivery.
:more:
