Title: Butchers v Supermarkets

Just looking at the local butchers prices, and selected a basket of the following:

1kg Lamb Chops for BBQ
2kg Roasting Leg of Pork
4kg Chicken Breasts
2kg Chicken Drumsticks
4kg Thick Sausages
5kg Yearling T-Bone Steak
2 dozen eggs

Total Cost $115.80

I'm sure that beats the supermarkets into the ground ;)

Butchers is deffo cheaper than supermarket, but we found our butchers (DBC) to be a bit hit and miss - sometimes the meat is lovely, othertimes it's nasty.

Also, the butcher doesnt sell roo meat, only the supermarket, and given it's the healthiest meat we eat more of that than anything I think. But not too expensive, luckily...
